Sporting director breaks silence on Barcelona interest in 16-year-old sensation

Barcelona regularly monitors exciting young players they could sign, and then put them in their La Masia Academy. Nowadays this process is especially useful because of the well-documented financial misery of the club, as well as the insistence of Hansi film to count on the youth.

Roony Bardghji, who was officially unveiled as a Barcelona player earlier this week, falls into this category. He is expected to be available for the first team and Barca Atletic during his first season in Catalonia, although there is now a better chance that he will take a place in the Senior Squadron after he reportedly made an impression during the training for the season.

Bardghji is the newest young signing that Barcelona is counting on, and someone who could fall into this bracket in the coming years is Mikkel Bro Hansen. The 16-year-old striker was associated with a move to the Catalans after his outbreak on the Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt, whose sports director has now spoken about this.

Havard Sakariassen spoke with Diario, which has opened on Bro Hansen, who has attracted interest from a number of clubs next to Barcelona.

“He is a very young boy and he has a great talent when it comes to scoring goals. He has the essence of becoming a goal scorer at an international level. Since he arrived in the first team, he has adapted to the rhythm of training in a spectacular way. I think he has a very clear future.”

“He has a gift for scoring goals. He is not playing for Barcelona today, but he is 16 years old. His achievements during the training of the first team are incredible. That says a lot about his potential. You have to be willing to do things before you receive offers. When I say that a player is not for sale, I don't see the offers.”

“I want Mikkel (Bro Hansen) to stay in Bodø, develop here and first become our player. Then you can go wherever you want, to England or Spain. If we don't want to do business now, it is not necessary to send us offers.”
