Tottenham are Europa League champions and end their 17-year-old waiting for a trophy by beating Manchester United 1-0 in Bilbao.
The winner of Brennan Johnson late in the first half was enough for the Noord -Londers to book a place in the Champions League next season -and the pressure on Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, which will be subject to their lowest Premier League finish and nothing more.
Sam Blitz from Sky Sports assesses the players in action in the Europa League final …
Trail
Guglielmo Vicario – 7
I got away with it and then became a hero. An early stumbling, but Rasmus Hojlund could not benefit and he then gave a chance to the same united striker, only to be saved by the acrobatic heroic deeds of Micky van de Ven. Two good saves to deny Alejandro Garnaacho and Luke Shaw to redeem themselves. At least one keeper showed up …
Pedro Porro – 7
Two excellent halves for various reasons. The first half saw him use his magic wand from a right -hand boot to create a number of good openings, after which he had to be defensive in the second period.
Cristian Romero – 9
He has never lost a final and you can see why. The Argentina defender showed excellent consciousness everywhere when he remained the low block brilliantly and made more clearings than any other Spurs player. He even got into Harry Maguire's head when the United Center-Back started threatening in the box. Spurs must develop him – but will he stay?
Micky van de Ven – 8
That approval. That athletics. The Dutchman was just as solid as Romero, but his acrobatic heroic deeds to deny Hojlund that Leveler will be just as much remembered as Johnson's goal. What a way to make yourself a hero.
Destiny Udogie – 7
Early looked nervous, wiped a man from a man and was too often turned around by Amad Diallo. But he grew in it and closed the United Winger in the second half. His game was summarized by a great tackle in the box to refuse Amad a decent opening before he broke to set up the big chance of Dominic Solanke for 2-0. He did so much, it's no wonder he had to come out late.
Yves Bissouma – 7
Firm. Won the second most duels from every Spurs player on the field – behind Romero – and the second most tackles behind Udogie. Will be one of the more underrated players of this success.
Rodrigo Bentancur – 7
Just like Bissouma, a good water carrier, who does a lot of dirty work without being spectacular. All three midfielders of Spurs kept Bruno Fernandes very quiet, so that the Manchester United Danger Man hardly got any room.
Pape Sarr – 7
Superb Cross for Spurs' opener – exactly what was needed after his side James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski lost to injury for this big game. Did not keep the ball good enough, but in the end it didn't really matter. It was not punished.
Brennan Johnson – 7
Caused all kinds of problems early doors for Luke Shaw and you could see his opener coming. That trademark runs from Backpost to the front under the tactic of Postecoglou is for generations intended in the Folklore of Spurs. Also did his work in the other direction.
Dominic Solanke – 7
You felt for the Spurs Forward – he did so much of the ball without getting many touches. Should have done better with a chance of breaking the break for 2-0, but at the same time setting a considerable chance of breaking the Heung-Min Son. An important moment.
Richarlison – 7
A shock recording about Captain Son – but you can see why he received the call. Less an attacking presence and did not do much in the air against Noussair Mazraoui, but his defensive performance and selfless representation was excellent. He was picked up with an injury, which showed how much he committed.

Heung -Min Son – 5
You could actually see why the Spurs Captain did not start. He came up and even then struggled and was beaten in a race by Patrick Dorgu despite playing an hour less football than his counterpart. Has he lost his legs?
Kevin Danso – 6
Brought to strengthen the backline as a different middle behind and helped with the low block, including a huge clearance of an Amad cross. Had half a chance of a free kick but did not take it.
Archie Gray and Djed Spence – N / A
Man utd
Andre Onana – 5
Nervy, shaky, not convincing in his decision -making. Onana's frequent restraint to coming out and criticizing or claiming behind, created nervousness in defense for United – and gave Spurs an invitation to cross. He was not entirely in default to the opener of Spurs, but the indecision took his toll. More disadvantages than pros this season in a certain way – time for United to continue?
Leny Yoro – 6
Not great but not bad. Almost caught by the Spurs press in the first half, but not helped by more indecision on Onana. He could have scored in the second half, but it is hard to criticize the player on a second-year-old player to appear in a European final for Man Utd.
Harry Maguire – 6
The middle behind was half of the half for United in the first period – to the opener. Solid in the defense, put his body at stake and caused problems in the other penalty box. But he then fell asleep by the end of half and had too many balls bounce, also for the opener of Spurs. He was rattled by Romero – this time no goal score.
Luke Shaw – 4
Johnson easily defeated a few times, so it was not a real surprise to see him overcome for the goal by the same player. Also not good enough with the ball. A sharper Shaw may be better done, but United Miss Lisandro Martinez in that position.
Noussair Mazraoui – 6
Just like Yoro, he cannot be accused too much. Good in the air against Richarlison, including a good, well -timed header to deny the Brazilian on the back post early. He generally won 12 duels and made good progress, so that the glorious chance of Bruno Fernandes was set up. Hardly picked up, but can understand the need to apply attack -oriented Diogo Dalot.
Casemiro – 5
The Brazilian midfielder had a number of flashlight with a number of large tackles, which showed that he could still deliver in a big game, but there his influence was limited to. You can only think about how he went from Champions League final with Real Madrid.
Bruno Fernandes – 4
Anonymous everywhere when the man from the man Utd struggled against the flat midfield of Spurs. His frustration was summarized by getting out to Udogie to admit a free kick and having cut a simple pass by Johnson, which led to a counterattack of Spurs. He then missed that big chance to deliver. It just wasn't a performance by a captain.
Patrick Dorgu – 5
Not bad in the future and came in good areas, but spent a lot of time tracing back to help Shaw. The young person did not communicate enough for Johnson's goal – he will learn.
Amad Diallo – 6
United's clear spark. The young broad man caused Udogie many problems and offered United's only two shots in the first half, plus the cross for the decent chance of Hojlund just after the break. A light in a gloomy Ruben Amorim era.
Mason Mount – 5
From light to dark. Mount got a chance and didn't take it. Mount got his united teammates in the way a few times in the first half, while he missed the last ball everywhere. Court of sale aware of United's needs became an urgent – and Alejandro Garnacho did more in four minutes than Mount did in 70. Matheus Cunha will take his lock next season, undoubtedly.
Rasmus Hojlund – 5
The hold-up game of the Young Forward was actually not bad. But United was missing a presence on a penalty box that was needed from a striker in a cup final. Needed to take that second half from the cross of Amad and bad luck to be refused by the stunning clearance of Van de Ven. But Man Utd needs better. Ten Premier League matches without shot too.
Subs
Joshua Zirkzee – 5
Brought for Hojlund and received as many yellow cards as he had shots. Only six details of the ball in about 20 minutes. He's just not a striker, right? But if Fernandes, Cunha and Amad are the No 10 options, where does it leave the Dutchman?
Alejandro Garnacho – 6
Probably the performance of Mount and Vicario should have been held well. But if he and Kobbie Mainoo are not familiar for a European final, where it leaves behind Ruben Amorim's plans, especially because they are both available to be sold for pure profit?
