Tottenham hopes Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White and has received a boost, in which Nuno Espirito Santo watches a potential replacement for the English international
Nottingham Forest is said to be interested in Aston Villa star Jacob Ramsey in a deal that can pave the way for Morgan Gibbs-White to join Tottenham. Forest enjoyed an excellent campaign last season and finished seventh in the Premier League.
They will also play in the Europa League next season after the FA Cup winners Crystal Palace were relegated to the Europa Conference League after they have violated the rules of the Multi-Club ownership of UEFA.
So far, Forest has only made two senior signing sessions this summer, so that striker Igor Jesus and defender Jair Cunha from Botafogo have been brought in, and a new report from the Telegraph states that Ramsey has now emerged as their highest target.
Ramsey was always present for Villa last season and made 46 performances in all competitions and has been identified by Forest as someone who can play anywhere in their front line.
And Ramsey is on the radar of England -Baas Thomas Tuchel, who called him when he unveiled his first three Lions team. “There are some difficult, with people such as James Maddison, Gibbs-White and also Jacob Ramsey,” he said at the time.

It is claimed that the importance of Forest is 'long -term' and Villa can be tempted to sell, because any compensation would count as pure profit on their bills because Ramsey graduated. The 24-year-old played largely on the left for Villa, but also played more centrally and on the right.
As a result, Ramsey could eventually replace Gibbs-White or Anthony Elanga, which was sold to Newcastle in a £ 55 million deal. Spurs hope to sign Gibbs-White this summer, but Forest has accused them of making an “illegal approach”.

Gibbs-White was an important player for Forest last season and produced 17 target contributions in 34 league games and was connected to a move to Manchester City before they signed Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki.
