Spurs has retained an interest in Fikayo Tomori despite a rejection earlier this year and is said to prepare another bid for the defender.
In February the English international chose to stay on the Serie A -side, when Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou tried to help the club's injury crisis, who saw them with Cristian Romero and Radu Dragusin on the sidelines.
Despite this rejection, the Times reports that the interest is inflamed.
This interest comes from technical director Johan Lange, who sees the 27-year-old as the perfect defensive signing now that the summer transfer window is open.
The new AC Milan manager is said to prefer Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic as his desired center-back duo, which Tomori leaves in the cold and probably wants a company elsewhere where the first team of football is available.
Spurs try to strengthen their defense after their Europa League triumph, especially after such an injuries.
Romero and Micky van de Ven were excluded for most parts of the season, while Dragusin also tore his ACL, leaving Postecoglou in Dire Straits.
Tottenham was also associated with Crystal Palace -defender Marc Guehi, with reports that suggest that Tomori would be pursued if a deal for the Eagles star cannot be reached in the coming months.
