Spurs score own goal in bonkers six-goal thriller to leave Postecoglou on brink

The disastrous season of Tottenham took another turn when Wolves turned on the style in Molineux.

A smoking Ange Postecgolou could only view while he was taunted with “you are fired in the morning”.

Wolves only needed two minutes to break the impasse while having a fourth consecutive win.

Rayan Ait Nouri shot inside from the edge of the box, before the goal of Djed Spence just before the break.

The Spurs van Postecoglou looked at it more in the second half, with Mathys count the shortage.

But they were cut again by unbridled wolves while Jorgen Strand Larsen sealed the points.

Ait-Nouri robbed skipper Christian Romero who was unable to tackle the situation when he seemed to have covered it.

He then crossed to Strand Larsen to score his 12th goal of the season up close – making it five goals in four games for the Norwegian.

Richarlison came out of the couch to give Spurs hope on a late fightback.

But as soon as the Brazilian had scored, his countryman Cunha had taken the other side 4-2.
