Chelsea Outcast Raheem Sterling attracts interest from Bayer Leverkusen according to a report.
The 30-year-old is back at Stamford Bridge after a gloomy campaign on loan at Arsenal, where he only led one goal in 28 performances.
Even after his bad campaign, Sterling continues to attract clubs on the continent, according to it.
According to the BBC, the attacker is in fact of particular importance for the German side Bayer Leverkusen, whose side has undergone a huge change this season.
Leverkusen has lost their manager Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid, as well as star player Florian Wirtz and starting wing-back, center-back and, instead, defensive midfielder.
The departure of the last trio – Jeremie Frimpong, Jonathan Tah and Granit Xhaka, who is approaching a move to Sunderland, leaves new boss Erik ten Hag with a team that is good for the quality needed to take on a serious challenge to Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title.
If Leverkusen follows their interest in Sterling, the former English star will have to prove that he still has the opportunity to shine for a side that competes in the Champions League.
At the beginning of the month, Mail Sport reported that Sterling was not informed what the next one was for him, but it is understanding that he is not in the plans of Blues Boss Enzo Maress.
Sterling is one of that for sale this summer. And only 30, he wouldn't mind staying in the Premier League.
Chelsea held conversations with West Ham about Mohammed Kudus before completing a move to Tottenham and brought the opportunity to send players in the opposite direction. The hammers, however, indicated that they were not interested in that idea.
