Tom Aspinall is increasingly frustrated by the condition of the UFC Heavyweight Division.
Interim UFC heavyweight title holder Tom Aspinall continues to wait patiently for the promotion and Jon Jones to close the deal later this year for a potential fight. Jones, who recently defeated Stipe Miocic in UFC 309 in November, asks for a lucrative payment day in exchange for faceing Aspinall to unite the heavyweight belts.
While Aspinall continues to wait until Jones signs the dotted line, he kept a close eye on a controversial heavyweight matchup at UFC Saudi Arabia. His former interim title opponent, Sergei Pavlovich, stood opposite Jairzinho rose bush in what was hyped as a potentially banger fight on the main map.
Pavlovich vs. Rose bush lacked expectations in Riyadh. It was a slow fight from start to finish, which forced UFC CEO Dana White to compare it to some of the worst fights in the history of the promotion.
The 'Snoozefest' fight came only a few weeks after a new main scandaling heavyweight matchup between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov on UFC 310.
The mostly quiet Aspinall is fed up with slow versions of some of the best heavyweights and wants Jones to have their fight immediately.

Tom Aspinall hits the condition of the heavyweight division after UFC Saudi -Arabia
In a recent message from his Instagram story, Aspinall gave a brutal fair assessment of the heavyweight division while looking at UFC Saudi Arabia.
“These heavyweight fighting absolutely absolutely,” Aspinall posted. “Let's get some excitement back and stop holding it.”
At the moment Jones did not respond to Asinall's comments. White and the matchmakers remain optimistic about booking Jones vs. Aspinall for later this year.
But White threatened to strip Jones van de Riem if the negotiations got stuck. That would set up Aspinall to be promoted as the linear heavyweight champion or fight against another top candidate for the empty belt.
Aspinall does not remain put off in his position that he does not want to defend the interim rim in the midst of the absence of Jones. He spent Curtis Blaydes in his only interim defense on UFC 304.
Tom Aspinall agreed with the conditions about Jon Jones -Vecht despite stuck negotiations
Aspinall says that he has agreed to conditions about the Jones fight and is waiting for the registration of the linear heavyweight title holder. White has also denied rumors that Jones asks about $ 30 million to combat Aspinall.
Jones recorded the then vacant UFC Heavyweight Title by submitting Gane to UFC 285, almost two full years ago. After an injury had postponed his first title defense, he completed Miocic in a dominant version last November.
Aspinall is ready to not only return to the Octagon, but can also understand the 20-field undefeated line of Jones. But the fight remains quiet and the interim title holder is becoming increasingly frustrated by the hold-up.
