RC Strasbourg Alsace continues with their pursuit of Stade de Reims -midfielder Valentin Atangana (19) and has made a third bid for the France U21 International, according to a report from L'Equipe.
It was expected that clubs would stand in line to sign Atangana as soon as the relegation from Reims to Ligue 2 was attached. The will of Amadou Koné and Yehvann Diouf, two of the other more bankable assets in the team of Les Stadistes, were quickly sold. The first joined Neom SC, the latter joined OGC Nice and the need of Reims to sell more assets.
Strasbourg, however, has shown interest by the window. They now step on their attempts and have recently rejected a third offer for the midfielder. Although RCSA likes to get their husbands through the door, they now have to fight with competition.
AS Roma, on the market for a midfielder, has now become a member of the race to sign Atangana, while Al-Ahli, just like Roma, has also done a study and conversations have started.
