RC Strasbourg Elzace's Andrew Omobamidele (23) has sustained an ankle injury according to his manager Liam Rosenior.
Omobamidele spent the second half of last season on loan in Strasbourg by Nottingham Forest before he made the move permanent this summer. The Republic of Ireland International has struggled with injury problems, even since arriving in Alsace. He ran an ankle injury last season, so he stayed offside for two months.
He has now suffered a single injury, during Sunday's 1-0 win over FC Nantes. He sustained the injury just before the break and was visibly emotional because he was forced to make his exit. Without deepening the injury in big details, Rosenior confirmed after the game that his defender had sustained an ankle injury.
Felix Lemarechal also suffered an injury during the 1-0 win over Les Canaris, but Rosenior was convinced that the Frenchman's injury was not too serious.
