Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall says that it would be “stupid” for Chelsea not to acknowledge that it is Europe Conference League favorites after they went to the quarterfinals.
Dewsbury-Hall scored the only goal when Chelsea Copenhagen defeated 1-0 in the second stage of their last 16 draw on Stamford Bridge on Thursday, achieving a 3-1 total triumph.
Enzo Maresca was able to let some big names rest for the game, with Cole Palmer, Reece James and Marc Cucurella who came from the bank, while 17-year-old Genesis Antwi was also caused for his debut.
Chelsea are tough favorites to win the third competition of UEFA, with their wage account that of their competitors dwared.
And when he speaks to TNT-Sport after the game, Dewsbury-Hall said that Chelsea cannot ignore that reality.
“Chelsea has won the Champions League, the Europa League, it would be stupid of us to say that we cannot win this,” said the former man of Leicester City.
“It is not arrogant of us, but we just know the quality we have in the team. Copenhagen are a good team, but we are happy to be through.”

Dewsbury-Hall created three chances in the second stage, more than any other player on the field, while only Moises Caicedo (17) has increased 12 passes in the last third.
He broke through various challenges before he was completed on the left for his 55th minute strike, his third goal in the competition this season.
“It was nice to get a lead in the first leg to come to Stamford Bridge and we are safe in the quarters,” he said.
“I saw a gap and managed to continue. I thought I would choose my place and luckily it came off, I practice it after the training and was happy to produce it in a competition.”
