Boxing superstar Ryan Garcia still has several months to answer for his PED suspension, but 'King Ry' will indeed return to the ring in a few weeks for a rather strange exhibition fight in Japan.
The suspended superstar believes his return to the ring will end in a devastating knockout, and he is already planning his next fight after that December comeback; this time against Jake 'The Problem Child' Paul.

Ryan Garcia announces his return to the boxing ring during the exhibition fight in December
Ryan Garcia was suspended from professional boxing and fined more than $1 million after testing positive for Ostarine in his fight against Devin Haney earlier this summer, with that suspension confirmed to last a full calendar year.
However, Garcia is still planning to take an exhibition fight in the meantime, with the boxing superstar just announcing that he has accepted the contract for a fight against former kickboxing champion Rukiya Anpo on December 30.
“I'm looking forward to knocking out Anpo as he tries to take out the legend Manny Pacquiao,” Garcia teased in a statement to the media after the announcement was made public.
“Manny [Pacquiao] is past his prime, and him trying to knock him out rubbed me the wrong way…I'll knock him out and teach him a lesson in respect.
Anpo and Pacquiao drew in a three-round exhibition fight of their own in July, with Garcia claiming after that fight that he would knock Anpo out in three rounds.
Garcia vs Anpo takes place on Monday, December 30 at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT and is a Pay-Per-View fight available for purchase through Fanmio for $49.99.
Ryan Garcia teases he's going after Jake Paul while he awaits PED suspension
After facing Rukiya Anpo in December, Ryan Garcia is hoping to secure a big-money fight against Jake 'The Problem Child' Paul in early 2025, with his suspension from professional boxing expected to expire in the summer.
Taking to social media late last night, 'King Ry' laid out his future battle plans and chose not to mince his words as he reaffirmed that Paul remains firmly on his hit list.
“I've been quiet for a while now, but I've got some plans in place before I actually return to the ring… Here's the plan before April… December exhibition in Japan against the man who fought and tried to fight the aging Manny Pac knock him out… And then go after Jake for Uncle Mike.”
Jake Paul is coming off a controversial win over the legendary Mike Tyson in a fight that Garcia lamented: “There's no point in that fight,” he wrote on social media.
Paul certainly has the power to choose his next opponent, having been drafted by a string of household names including retired boxer Carl Froch, heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois and undisputed king Artur Beterbiev.
