Trent Alexander-Arnold has earned the right to select his next destination and may not be criticized by Liverpool fans if he leaves for Real Madrid.
That is the image of the former Reds midfielder Harry Kewell, who feels that Alexander-Arnold would easily adapt to life in the Santiago Bernabeu.
Instead of following the leadership of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, who have signed new two-year contracts to stay in Anfield, it is expected that Alexander-Arnold Liverpool will leave at the end of the season.
Alexander-Arnold has won almost every available trophy since he made his Liverpool debut in 2016 and the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup trophies are lifting.
And on Sunday, Alexander-Arnold hit the winner in a 1-0 win over Leicester City to put the Reds on the edge of their second Premier League triumph.
Despite that goal, Alexander-Arnold was criticized by many Liverpool fans for his failure to commit his future to the club, while Jamie Carragher said after the Leicester victory that Arne Slot should bank the full-back when he is on his way.
But Kewell, who won the FA Cup and Champions League with Liverpool, did not give Alexander-Arnold his next move.
Kewell said to perform stats: “I will probably not win many fans with this, but I think Trent has done great things in Liverpool.

“To win almost all the possible … That is phenomenal. If he now wants a new challenge, if it is the path he chooses, then it will honor him.
“Liverpool is one of the largest clubs in the world, but he doesn't go to a smaller club; he goes to Real Madrid. That is a club with just as many expectations.
“The pressure there will be huge, but he is used to it. The pressure of playing in Anfield is huge. I remember that when I played, opponents used to come to Anfield. They would be like:” Oh my God, the pressure is too much. “
“He lived that. He has deserved the right to choose his next step. I understand the frustration of fans, but he has achieved everything with Liverpool.
“He can now think about his own path. If that means that you go abroad to challenge himself again, it is that. He has earned that right.”
On Sunday's left volley was the 23rd goal of Alexander-Arnold for Liverpool, but the first to not be scored with his right foot.

Since he made his Premier League debut in December 2016, Alexander Arnold has more assists (64) and total target involvement (82) than any other defender in the competition, also for the road for opportunities (514).
“We all know what he is capable of; his passing range is phenomenal. I have said it before: he is probably one of the best crossers we have ever seen in the Premier League,” Kewell added.
“There is a trade -off. He is not a natural defender defensively, but what he gives you in attack is excellent.
“He was able to do that in part because he had someone like Van Dijk behind him – perhaps the best defender the Premier League has seen. That gives him the freedom to continue and influence games.”
