Barcelona dealing with further injury concern ahead of Celta Vigo clash

On Saturday, Barcelona will make the difficult trip to Balaidos, where they will face Celta Vigo. It has virtually been confirmed that Hansi Flick will miss the services of Lamine Yamal for that match, while it appears that he could also be missing an indispensable starter in Alejandro Balde.

Balde is undoubtedly Barcelona's first choice left-back and after a disappointing start to the season on an individual basis, he has been stepping up his level in recent weeks. However, he may have to miss the match against Celta as Sport revealed he is struggling with discomfort.

Balde has been struggling with the problem for a number of days, and with an intensive playing schedule before the winter break, it could be decided that the 21-year-old will postpone the trip to Vigo. If that happens, there is a good chance that Barcelona will use Gerard Martin as their starting left-back against Celta.
