Jake Paul called out by ‘old, grey and out of shape’ former boxing champion who promises to KO him in 30 seconds

Carl Froch is ready to end his boxing retirement for a fight with Jake Paul

The former super-middleweight world champion hasn't fought since knocking out George Groves in front of 80,000 people at London's Wembley Stadium in May 2014 – but he still thinks he could beat 'The Problem Child'.

Froch has been trading blows with the YouTuber-turned-boxer for years, and now he's ready to settle their feud the old-fashioned way after watching Jake Paul work to a decisive victory over 58-year-old Mike Tyson on Friday night.

However, it appears the 27-year-old has his sights set on a much bigger name for his next fight.

Jake Paul and Carl Froch trade insults on social media

Jake Paul was tagged by Carl Froch in a video of the Englishman's scathing assessment of his last fight.

'The Cobra' claimed he could easily defeat Paul and even suggested tying one arm behind his back for their clash.

However, the former Disney star reacted angrily and suggested they would never do business.

Paul tweeted: “F****** sour loser. Shut your mouth. I've done more in four years than you have in your life. First and last time I respond to your broken salty a**. Let me know if you want to wash my cars.'

Froch took his comeback too far when he made crude comments about Paul's skater girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, before making a bold prediction for their hypothetical fight.

He wrote: “Listen, Jakey, boy… I've been retired for eleven years, haven't boxed in over a decade, I'm old, gray and out of shape. But I would still give your wife the best night of her life! I bet she dreams about a real man

“Let me know if you still want your cars washed, she can let me in through The Back Door. PS, I'd knock you out in 30 seconds, you're useless.

Jake Paul wants Canelo Alvarez next

Paul is often criticized for fighting older, undersized and inexperienced opponents.

However, he insists that his next enemy will be one of the best boxers alive today.

On a recent episode of his BS with Jake Paul podcast, Paul acknowledged that he may be biting off more than he can chew in a potential boxing match with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

“Generally speaking, everyone's biggest criticism is, 'Fight a professional! Fight someone your age!,” he said. “So when I said Canelo is the person, everyone hates that. Wouldn't the best chance to see me lose be to play Canelo?

“People won't be happy with my career until I'm bloody flat… one of the best I've ever done, a legend, pound for pound amazing… yeah, it's going to be a crazy fight. It's going to be difficult. I might get my shot and fall flat. But let's fucking find out!”
