James Tarkowski says that this season he never doubted Everton's resilience despite their struggles, while focusing their attention on Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Sean Dyche left the club in the table at 16th, and although they stay there under the leadership of David Moyes, they won their last two games in the competition to relocate six points from the drop zone.
Everton used to be a 1-0 win over Brighton to celebrate Moyes's 700th Premier League match as a manager, and Tarkowski believes that these kinds of results have come.
“I did not question it at all: the work; the effort; the togetherness; the resilience,” Tarkowski told Evertontv.
“Maybe quality has sometimes not been good enough, but that resilience in our team never left us. It was clearly visible today and I am proud of the team.
“It's hard to lose a manager because we are guilty of that, so that's never fun for us. But football changes, a manager comes in and you get that positive feeling about the place, what happens to a new one manager.
“And we responded to it, so to win as we did – two tough games that we played there. To achieve two wins as we have, is really, very pleasant. And hopefully we will get a few more past it The line. “

In the meantime, Leicester moved from the bottom three after the end of a seven-match Winless Run in the Top-Flight with a comeback victory at Tottenham last Sunday.
It was their first Premier League victory under Ruud van Nistelrooy since his first game that was in charge of the club, and Jamie Vardy, who scored the equalizer against Spurs, has encouraged the foxes to buy in the ways of the new manager.
“He has his own set -way way of playing, and it's all about buying in. You buy it, then you get it to work. It's not that long that we are together,” Vardy said.
“You go from one system to another and then another. You have to stay focused on what the manager wants, but to ensure that we are all together, all on the same page. It doesn't matter as long as we support them all Other. “
