UFC Strawweight -Tatiana Suarez made her first public comments since her first loss of career against Zhang Weili on UFC 312.
Tatiana Suarez entered the Octagon at UFC 312 as a modest gambling favorite against the UFC Strawweight champion Zhang Weili. But after five rounds with the champion, Suarez left the Octagon empty -handed.
Despite a slow start, Weili Suarez defeated a unanimous decision to keep its title on UFC 312 in Sydney. Weili was able to stop most Takedown attempts by Suarez and surpassed her on the feet, leaving Suarez's face a bloody mess after their fight.
It was a stunning version of Weili after Suarez entered the cage as a rare favorite, even though it was a first title challenge. Before the loss for Weili, Suarez won her first 10 professional fights, including a victory over former title holder Jessica Andrade who yielded the next shot at the belt.
After suffering for the first time in the UFC on the jaws of the defeat, Suarez appealed to her fans three days after UFC 312.

In a recent Instagram post, Suarez thought about her first career -the defeat on UFC 312.
“Champions don't show up to get everything they want; They appear to give everything they have. “And that's what I will do every time. Whatever happens! “Said Suarez.” I think it's all great. Win, loss or draw, I am exactly where I want to be. Doing what I would like to do every day of my life. I have the best people around me who love me for me Live the dream! Suarez suffered a nasty cut on her leg slightly less than two rounds in her straw weight title fight with Weili. During a clambered against the fence, Suarez opened her leg during a casual fence brush, but she continued to compete with the full five -round distance.

Suarez underwent a long way to the Stromweight Title shot after a series of health problems had postponed her climb. Before UFC 312, Suarez had only fought twice since 2019, after several injuries had forced a four -year break from the cage.
Suarez made a triumphant return in February 2023 and submitted Montana de la Rosa in the second round. She finished Andrade in UFC Nashville to secure her place in the Stromweight Titeld discussion.
Suarez was supposed to face Virna Jandiroba in a no. 1 competition fight on UFC 310 before he withdrew due to injury. Jandiroba was not turned for the map and, instead, Suarez deserved a boost for the next title shot.
Suarez could possibly earn a rematch against Weili along the line. But for now she is focused on better building in her return to the Octagon later this year.
