Ten Premier League free agents-to-be who can talk to Euro clubs NOW including Liverpool trio and Man Utd’s shining light

LIVERPOOL could end the season with a Quadruple under new boss Arne Slot.

But many Reds fans fear a treble departure is still on the cards, and now things are starting to get serious.

Skipper Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mo Salah will all be out of contract next summer.

That means that from today they can legitimately talk about Bosman's free transfers to foreign clubs at the end of the season.

Prem rivals are not allowed to make formal contact, although behind-the-scenes moves are hardly unprecedented.

With more than 80 top players entering the final few months of their existing deals, it means the starting gun for global interest in Prem stars was fired at midnight.

It's not just Liverpool fans who will be concerned.

Kevin De Bruyne's contract at Manchester City expires in six months, along with a host of first-team regulars in the Prem.

Everton have no fewer than eight players whose contracts expire at the end of June, Manchester United have six, while Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brighton are at risk of seeing five players leave for nothing.

SunSport looks at the ten notable names who can talk to foreign clubs from today…

FOOTBALL FREE BETTS AND SIGN UP DEALS

Trent Alexander-Arnold

The Liverpool right-back, 26, is being courted by Real Madrid, but the Anfield club rejected the Spanish club's move last night.

His departure would be a blow to the Anfield fans.

However, Arne Slot does have a ready-made replacement at the club in the form of Northern Irish Conor Bradley.

Virgil van Dijk

It seems likely that the Anfield skipper will sign for a few more years.

But the Dutch defensive ace, 33, may want a three-year contract – which is at odds with owners Fenway Sports' financial model.

However, central defenders have a longer football life than other field players.

Mo Salah

The Egyptian king is on course for the biggest attacking season of the Premier League era, with an impressive 17 goals and 13 assists so far.

But 32-year-old Salah is playing a public game of contract chicken with Liverpool's hierarchy and knows he is the Saudi Pro League's No. 1 target.

Kevin DeBruyne

The Belgian Manchester City star, 33, spoke out publicly about the uncertainty surrounding his future at Etihad.

He was again hit by injuries and also lost his starting place.

If the curtain were to come down on his City era, he would have a great exit as a club. Will have great offers in the Middle East.

Amad Diallo

In a season of toil and trial for Manchester United, the 22-year-old Ivorian was one of the few bright lights and a player who seemed to better suit Ruben Amorim's preferred form.

But if United don't act quickly, the door is open to leave – whether to make a European move now or get his choice of club next summer.

Son Heung-min

Spurs have the option to extend their South Korean captain's stay in N17 for another year, but recent displays – especially his shock against Wolves on Sunday – could indicate his future is unclear.

If he hears former Tottenham striker Harry Kane indicate that he would like to welcome Sonny to Bayern Munich, he might think about his best move.

Mario Lemina

Losing the Wolves captaincy after flipping his lid at the end of the defeat to West Ham, putting Gary O'Neil one step closer to the exit door, could be an incentive for the Gabonese midfielder to look elsewhere .

And at 31, former Southampton and Fulham midfielder Lemina still has a few seasons left at the top level.

Thomas Partey

The Ghanaian midfield powerhouse has been in and out of Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side this season, but has also proven his versatility.

Partey is not the only Gunners midfielder to be out of contract this summer, with Italian star Jorginho finding himself in a similar position.

But 31-year-old Partey performed well at Atletico Madrid and could be a target in Spain.

Christian Norgaard

Thomas Frank's faith in his fellow Dane is unquestionable and the Brentford captain has become a popular figure among Bees fans in the six seasons since joining from Fiorentina.

Norgaard is still only 30 years old and will have no shortage of summer suitors, but may fancy a return to the continent and could try to seal a deal now.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Perhaps the biggest surprise for the England striker, 27, is that he is still at Everton after being linked with a move away for the past 18 months.

Canceling his deal to join Newcastle for nothing this summer remains his most likely move, but he is also a potential target for Fiorentina, who are eyeing a return to the Champions League.
