Despite the fact that the FROPLA fight on days on the hand of UFC 263, McKinney did not seem nervous or hesitant to see the dangerous lightweight in the Octagon. McKinNey quickly marched forward and caught Freola with a 1-2 combination that quickly dropped his opponent.

After FROPLA had fallen to the Canvas, McKinney hit him cold with various devastating basic attacks before referee Jason Herzog stepped in to wave the fight. Officially added up as a knockout victory of seven seconds for McKinney, the finish remains the fastest in UFC Lightweight History.

Almost as fast as he eliminated FROLPENA, McKinney quickly burst into a post-Vecht party, in an attempt to jump over the cage before he landed awkwardly on his right leg. The celebration of McKinney was demolished when he grabbed his leg in pain to close a wild 15 seconds in the octagon.

Fortunately, McKinney did not suffer any more serious injury that would have postponed his career for an indefinite period after winning the record setting knockout victory.

After the FROPLA fight, McKinney has traded victories and losses in his career, but is fresh from an impressive TKO victory on Damir Hadzovic in UFC Saudi Arabia. McKinney will be confronted next month with Vicheslav Borshchev on UFC 317, in a huge Undercard competition that will make way for the Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira Main Event.

McKinney is back on the winning song after victories in three of his last four fights, including knockouts about Mike Breeden and Brendan Marotte. The current Run of McKinney is in stark contrast to various brutal knockout losses that he has previously suffered in his UFC official period, including a horribly flying loss of Ismael Bonfim on UFC 283.

McKinney remains one of the most dangerous UFC light weights on the Roster and will try to make a new explanation in his return to one of the largest cards of the year.
