Terry, Cech, and Lampard team up with Chelsea legends for charity competition
Members of Chelsea's golden era came together for a one-off charity match on Tuesday, with club legends Petr Cech, John Terry and Frank Lampard all present in the friendly kickaround.
Modern legends enjoyed a celebrated career at Stamford Bridge with the club's serial title winners in the early 2000s, most notably during Jose Mourinho's first reign at the club.
A host of stars who were regulars during Mourinho's legendary first spell at the club have since moved into management roles, but have taken time out of their busy schedules to rewind the years.
In addition to Lampard, Terry and Cech, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, Gary Cahill, Carlo Cudicini, Gianfranco Zola, Jody Morris, Jimmy Smith and others were present.
Twelve former Chelsea stars played in the charity match, with each player wearing the club's current first team squad and the match appeared to take place at the club's training campus in Cobham.
The throwback match caught the attention of Chelsea supporters who celebrated the occasion on social media, with many fans hailing the stars of yesteryear for still wearing the badge.
Former Blues midfielder Morris shared a photo of the teams on social media as the Chelsea stars gathered for a group photo that had supporters purring.
