UFC Atlanta was interrupted for a special message about former Jager Ben Askren.
The retired two-promotion MMA world champion was unfortunately included in a critical condition due to a serious case of pneumonia caused by a Staph infection.
Ben Askren's family has asked for prayers while he is confronted with the toughest battle for his remarkable life.
Daniel Cormier has that too, so he was touched when his bosses spread the message during UFC Atlanta.

Daniel Cormier thanks the UFC for supporting Ben Askren
Cormier took the night of commentary and instead looked at UFC Atlanta at home on Saturday.
'DC' played on his TV when the broadcast was interrupted to send the Askren family.
“Ben Askren is currently in a serious battle in a hospital in Wisconsin after developing serious pneumonia,” said UFC commentator Brandon Fitzgerald. “His wife Amy posted earlier this week about Ben's health and everyone asked to continue to steer prayers and support.
The MMA community has gathered around the Askren family and insists on prayers for Amy and their three children. We here at the UFC certainly participate in sending all our support to Ben, his wife Amy and their children while they stay strong because of this difficult fight.
Paul Felder added: “All our and best wishes are out for his wife and children. We just hope he will definitely get through and recovers.”
Cormier endorsed his message: “Thanks @Ufc. @BenaskRen we all love your size. Amy, we are all praying for you every day!”
Ben Askren 'wife overwhelmed by support
On Monday evening the mother of the three children of Askren posted a statement on social media.
“Felt so incredibly grateful for our friends and community,” Amy wrote in a Facebook message shared with her Instagram story. “It is true that you remember how you are really blessed.
“I feel that God is going through the love and support that we have received. I am sorry if I have not had the chance to respond to you, but I know I have seen your messages, and everyone has meant so much to me.
“Please keep praying for Ben.”
