Sean Strickland was unable to apologize after he broke his nose in his last attempt at the UFC Middleweight title.
The beloved former champion was founded in five rounds by Dricus du Plessis and won only one round on one score card in the main event of UFC 312. However, he refused to get stuck by any explanation, instead he simply praised his rival and the fans.
It is still to be seen where Strickland is going as a title candidate as one of the most controversial but popular figures in the division. In the meantime, Du Plessis seems to be on his way to a world title defense against Khamzat Chimaev.
