‘That’d be incredible’… Paddy Pimblett’s next fight suggested by UFC Hall of Famer following UFC 314

Paddy Pimblett can only be one win from fighting the lightweight title after the biggest victory of his career at UFC 314.

Paddy Pimblett showed exactly why there was a lot of early hype around his name when he dominated Michael Chandler in the UFC 314 Co-Main event.

Pimblett then scored the third round and took what his most impressive victory is under the UFC banner to date.

After the victory, 'The Baddy' proclaimed different UFC light weights, including the greatest star in sport, Conor McGregor, after the Irishman had declared his interest to fight the winner before the event.

Michael Bisping suggests who Pimblett should fight afterwards

Although the 30-year-old Brit likes to be a potential collision with 'The Notorious', in what would be one of the greatest fights in the history of the sport, UFC Hall of Famer, Michael Bisping, has a different suggestion.

With 'The Baddy' probably now arranged in the top eight of the 155LB division, he is potentially only one victory removed from securing a shot on the title.

That said, immediately after the event, UFC boss Dana White suggested that Pimblett is already in the title interview and won his victory over 'Iron' Mike.

Bisping, however, believes that a fight against former champion, Charles Oliveira, could play if a number one competitions fights for both hunters and is what makes sense.

“We know that he then called everyone on the microphone, I love it, I think it's great that he has called all the top boys,” Bisping began to explain in a video on his YouTube channel.

“He doesn't get a title shot against Islam Makhachev, I think that is going to Ilia Topuria … He has put a special emphasis on (fighting) Charles Oliveira. I think that is the fight that should be made.

“Paddy Pimblett's Jiu-Jitsu is fantastic, Charles Oliveira is the submission king, he has the most bonuses, he has the most finishes, he is a former champion and has not booked a fight, this should be,” Bispen continued.

'Do Bronx' Oliveira apparently holds up for a title Rematch against Islam Makhachev, but it is unlikely that he is the next challenger.

“Anyone who knew we would have this conversation, Paddy Pimblett vs Charles Oliveira, a number one contender fight, that would be incredible,” Bisping continued.

Paddy Pimblett believes that he has a better entry game than Charles Oliveira

The fan favorite Brazilian has the most entries in UFC history with 16 and is generally considered the best Jiu-Jitsu practitioner in the promotion.

Nevertheless, the self -assured Brit believes that he has a stronger entry match that Oliveira has, and would like to show it in a fight against the former king of the division.

“I want to become a world champion, I am becoming a world champion and defeats a former champion such as Charles Oliveira who had two title defenses, he will be the best submission artist who has ever seen the UFC,” began to explain Pimblett to the post-fighting person.

“I would like to go against that, because I think I have better entries than Charles Oliveira,” he continued.
