Marvin Vettori opened on Saturday evening about his defeat against Roman Dolidze in a short Instagram story.
The Italian star Vettori was postponed after two years from the comeback of his Octagon against Georgian Dolidze in the main event of UFC Vegas 104 at the Apex. The two middleweight contenders had fought in London almost two years until the day before, with Vettori gaining the victory on that occasion.
The ring of the Italian ring, however, was visible before the first bell when Vettori suffered a malfunction in the wardrobe when he realized that he had never set up his cup. And that lack of activity continued to show during the five -round competition.

After his defeat, Marvin Vettori was quickly taken out of the Octagon, while Roman Dolidze gave a passionate speech after the fight. Within a short time, however, the outspoken European had brought to Instagram stories where he showed his cuts and opened himself to fans.
With more than half a million followers, Vettori said: 'Yes, nothing too bad, just some cuts and bruises. F— man, life sometimes shows you that you can turn off your heart and everything you have and you are still inadequate.
“That was a close fight, I almost had him in the third, but I think it wasn't enough. Yes man, I don't even know what to say.
'Just thank you [American Top Team] The best in the world, thanks then [Lambert]Everyone and all the sparring partners who helped me. I love you all, love you and thanks UFC. What the F – can I say, Bro? Don't know. That's it.
Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze have fought eight rounds together
The fight itself was indeed a close one, although not if you listened to the jury's scorecards. All three gave the 49-46 to Dolidze, which seems unfair, since Vettori was probably the one closest to a finish during the night.

Since their first meeting, the Georgian has been out three times, including two wins and a loss for Nassourdne Imavov. Especially in a very early and very late stages, Vettori really looked like someone who missed that kind of activity when he struggled to find his rhythm.
Towards the end of the night it was Dolidze who could better manage the pressure and the distance and eventually deserved the victory. It is expected that Vettori will now fall off the top ten, while Dolidze will arrive at perhaps his number eight place.
