Johan Martinez attracts large euro -interest rates
In the age of only 15 years, Johan Martinez (2009) has already made waves in the football world. The Ecuadorian winger, who is currently playing in the youth system of Independente Del Valle, has attracted the attention of the best European clubs thanks to its incredible talent and potential. Martinez is a dynamic player, able to use both feet, and reminds his playing style of that of Ousmane Dembélé.
His versions did not go unnoticed. Premier League top clubs Liverpool and Manchester City – together with all teams in the City Football Group – keep a close eye on his progress. Brighton also follows him, just like several other teams from the Bundesliga and the Serie A. Despite his young age, Martinez has already shown the qualities needed to succeed at the highest level.
His dribble, speed and technical skills make him one of the most exciting prospects in South -American football. In the coming weeks, developments are expected when clubs in the race will continue to follow their progress. With so much interest from all over Europe, it seems just a matter of time before Martinez makes the big leap in his young career.
Championship clubs focus on Empoli midfielder Henderson
Liam Henderson is planned for a busy summer on the transfer market. The Scottish midfielder, whose contract with Empoli ends in June, has attracted interest of various championship clubs fighting for Premier League promotion. If they succeed, Henderson at the top of their lists is considered a valuable addition as a free agent. But England is not his only option.
Many Italian clubs also follow him closely and constantly talk to his entourage, try to walk for the competition because they see him as a smart signature free of charge. In the meantime, the conversations for contract innovation with Empoli move slowly, making his departure more likely in the summer. In January, however, Henderson demonstrated his attachment to the Empoli shirt, after he had rejected important offers from MLS clubs, chosen to stay and help them in their struggle to prevent relegation.
Now, however, his future remains uncertain, with a choice between countries for the first time in his career in the Premier League – the interested clubs were allowed to reach promotion – or stay in Italy and start a new adventure in another club: the decision is in his hands.
Newcastle shopping for Isak -replacement
Newcastle keeps a close eye on different strikers while preparing for every scenario about the future of Alexander Isak. The Swedish attacker is the highest target of Liverpool for the summer, even if Newcastle remains firm in their position: they want to keep it and for this reason have set a very high price to evaluate offers. However, they also investigate alternatives in the case of a departure.
One of the names that are being considered is Liam Delap. The striker of Ipswich Town has impressed this season and has attracted interest from several clubs, including Liverpool, who see him as a potential replacement for Darwin Nunez. Newcastle is now also considering Delap as one of their options, Isak must leave. Viktor Gyokeres is another highly regarded target. Just like Isak, he is Swedish and Newcastle has already made contacts in recent weeks, although the competition is fierce for him. Newcastle also keeps Victor Boniface closely. The Bayer Leverkusen striker is evaluated internally and they follow his versions before they make a decision.
Another name on their radar is Samu Omorodion. Chelsea and Tottenham belong to the interested parties of the clubs, and the Porto striker has already made it clear that he prefers playing in the Champions League next season, so qualifying for the UCL is needed to convince him.
Meret Future uncertain as Napoli Talks Stall
The future of Alex Meret remains uncertain because the negotiations on a new contract with Napoli continue at a slow pace. The current deal of the Italian keeper ends in June and from now on there is no clear agreement for an extension. Despite his approaching status of free agent, so far only one club has shown concrete interest, Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri asked first questions about the availability of meret, but have not taken any official steps to sign it. The Italian champions keep their options open, but have not yet made a formal offer. In the meantime, Despite many reports, Manchester United does not consider Meret a target to strengthen their goalkeeper department. The Premier League club has not made contact with regard to a possible transfer of Alex and pursue other names as alternative options for Andre Onana.
With the times on his contract, the future of Meret will remain wide open: anyway, if no progress is made in renewal conversations with Napoli, he could attract more attention in the coming weeks as a valuable free-agent option for clubs both in Italy and in all of Europe.
Diomande still a Premier League option
Ousmane Diomande remains a hot name for the summer, with various top European clubs that keep a close eye on his situation. Arsenal has kept a close eye on Diomande in recent weeks: the Gunners appreciate his qualities, but consider the release clause too high. Their internal appreciation suggests that a price of approximately € 50 million would be a considerable amount to negotiate if they decide to make a move.
For the time being, Arsenal has not made a final decision and will continue to think about their options. Chelsea stays in the race and had almost two seasons on the list. The blues are still looking for a strong center-back, and Diomande is one of the names that have already been monitored in the past, which also appreciates Maresca. Just like Arsenal, they believe that his release clause of € 80 million can be considerably negotiated, which means that an important amount can be saved by handing directly with Sporting CP.
In the meantime, other European clubs have also shown interest and the Portuguese team is well aware of the growing competition. For this reason, Sporting will try to stand on the valuation of Diomande, knowing that several clubs are in the race.
