El Clasico is perhaps the biggest match in club football. The whole world stops watching while Barcelona and Real Madrid's teams of superstars face each other, and scoring in one can make a player immortal.
When both teams have so much quality, there are often spectacular goals and heated fights during the meetings between the two. However, a player who scores a hat trick in El Clasico is practically unheard of.
The will of Andres Iniesta and Ronaldinho have received standing ovations from the opposition powder after dazzling displays in the house of their rivals, but neither of them never managed to score three against the enemy.
Even Cristiano Ronaldo, the top scorer of the joint second in the history of El Clasico, and the player with the most hat tricks in history, never succeeded in scoring one against Barcelona.
Only eight players have managed this performance since the 1980s. We have mentioned that eight and how they immortalize themselves with a treble on the largest stage.
Before his days of terrible puns on the game of the day, Gary Lineker was actually a handy player for Barcelona and remains the only Englishman who scored a hat trick in El Clasico.
In January 1987 a long -awaited La Liga collision between the two giants of Spanish football took place in Camp Nou, and Lineker scored twice in the first five minutes.
He added his third at the start of the second half, before Jorge Valdano and Hugo Sanchez answered to Real Madrid, but could not complete a comeback and the game ended 3-2.
Speaking with La Liga TV, Lineker remembered how his first performance in the fixture could not have gone better.
“The first time I played in a Clasico in Camp Nou was at the beginning of 1987, and I didn't really know what to expect from the atmosphere. But it was incredible. I never knew anything like that,” said the 61-year-old.
“I scored two goals in the first five minutes, and the noise … The crescendo in Camp Nou was just something that I will never, never forget. I had goosebumps all over my body when I scored the second goal because the place was crazy.”
'Just after the break [Andoni] Zubizarreta hit a long ball, their defender [Chendo] Made a mistake, and I had a one-on-one … I think [Paco] Buyo was in goal. “
“I saw him coming out, and I just did a bit about him and went inside, I thought:” It went inside … I scored a hat trick in a clasico … in my first right home Clasico … “And I just couldn't believe what happened. “
The Brazilian legend only spent two seasons in Barcelona, but scored his stamp in style, with 39 goals in 65 games, including a stunning hat trick against Real Madrid in the 1993-94 season.
Real Madrid went to the camp well in January 1994 and left with their tail between their legs because they were humiliated 5-0.
Romario was the star of the show and opened the score with an external boot finish after a ball from Pep Guardiola, before he added his second and third in the second half after the powerful free kick by Ronald Koeman.
Such a version is only worth the ticket price.
A year after Romario's antics in the Nou-Camp, Ivan Zamorano got the revenge of his and Real Madrid when he delivered his own hat trick of the first half in January 1995 as Real Madrid 5-0 in the Santiago Bernabeu.
What. A. Player.

There was no way in which Lionel Messi would not appear on this list, and he is the only one who does it twice.
His first came in March 2007, when he was another teenager, when he surpassed Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldinho in a 3-3 draw in the Camp Nou.
He repeated the performance again in March 2014, but this time in the Bernabeu, and this time in a 4-3 victory.
Messi's Hattrick added Andres Iniesta's early strike to cancel goals from Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, with his second penalty of the game in the 87th minute to win the exciting meeting.
Real Madrid has to hate him …

Barcelona rose in Camp Nou in October 2018 and defeated Real Madrid 5-1, with Luis Suarez claiming the game ball.
A penalty, a shameful header and a filthy chip created a great result, while an injured Lionel Messi looked from the sidelines.
“Luis Suarez? Hard work brings rewards. The Hattrick is a consequence of everything he has done. He is always there”, Manager Ernesto Valverde after the game.
Even Real Madrid could not stop Prime Suarez.
The pressure was on Real Madrid and the current Ballon d'Or holder while they traveled to the camp for the second stage of their Copa del Rey Clash in April 2023.
They stood 1-0 in the back of the draw after a defeat on the first leg in the Bernabeu and at that time almost their competition contained, with a 2-1 LA Liga defeat against their rivals still painful, after they had given Barcelona what an unasservable 12-point lead was.
The task to overthrow the shortage looked particularly difficult, since the defense of Barcelona ruled last season and at the time only admitted nine league goals. Benzema apparently did not receive the memo.
Fresh from scoring three goals in the room of seven minutes against Real Valladolid the weekend before, the captain of Los Blancos was clearly in a confident mood. He founded Vinicius Junior's tie leveller in the break and then took matters into his own hands with a second half of hat trick to blow Barcelona away and put Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.
Madrid's biggest victory in the Camp Nou in 60 years and it was all about one man. Sacrebleu!
Los Blancos did not miss Benzema so much after he left for Saudi Arabia. That was thanks to Vinicius Junior who brought his game to new levels.
The Brazilian was the star of the show in a statement 4-1 that was in the Super Cup final in Riyad in January 2024.
Star Man Vinicius Junior scored twice in the first 10 minutes and completed his hat trick for the break with a cool-dispatched spot trap. Impact.
Imagine scoring a hat trick in El Clasico and is in the losing team.
A bit ridiculous.
