MMA is a dangerous sport and UFC stars are known for the incredible punishment they can take in the Achthoek and continue to fight.
Injuries are part of the game, with all hunters who suffer some kind of injuries during their time in fighting.
Some are more common than others and fighters from up and down influence the map, with stars such as Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo who suffer some of the worst suffering throughout their career.
Here are the most common injuries at the UFC and the hunters who have suffered from it.

1. Hand and wrist injury
One of the most common injuries that UFC hunters run out is hand and wrist injuries, which can occur even before they go to the Octagon.
Because of the speed, strength and pure amount of punches that are thrown in training to prepare for their big fights, wear and ships can take place on the hands and wrists of even the most sustainable hunters.
Tribes are commonplace, but even breaks are quite regularly in the pre-Vecht camp, not to mention in the fighting when some of the greatest batters do everything to win the victory.
Conor McGregor has famous countless injuries in sparring, including it embedded in his hand from his partner, while “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone broke his hand a dozen times over his UFC office period.
2.
In addition to hands, noses are another body part that is very susceptible to injury because of the nature of MMA.
With bumps completely legal, huge shots in the face will almost guarantee a nose during a competition, so that fighters are bloody and battered in the octhoek, with their nose in the wrong way to the rest of their face.
This usually includes the fracture of the nasal bone in the upper part of the nose, although fighters can also damage the lower two -thirds, which is usually cartilage. Although not technically “broken”, it is still mentioned as such.
One of the worst nasal breaks in UFC's history was Mike Perry's face destruction at UFC Fight Night 156, where the flying knee of Vicente Luque sealed and moved his nose.
Because of the injury, he lost a considerable amount of blood and he was brought to the hospital for further investigation, although Perry impressively ended the fight despite the horrible injury.
3. Cauliflower ear
The next common injury is almost an honorary sign for many athletes, including UFC hunters.
This is one of the most common injuries in combating sports, because it is so easy to suffer and is difficult to recover from outside surgery.
Repeated friction or bone trauma suffered during wrestling or when they are hit in training, or in a fight, can cause blood to bundle between the skin and the cartilage into the ear, which paved and swells to give the early 'cauliflower' form.

As soon as the hematoma gets hard, it is impossible to cure the outside of the operation, making it clear who suffered from the injury.
Cauliflower ear is so common because of the amount of physical training and sparring hunters in the run -up to the fight, with people like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Randy Couture that they wear as badges of honor.
4. Chesting and head injury
It seems bizarre that until 2021 there was no official concussion protocol in the UFC, despite how devastating head injuries can be in different sports, especially fighting.
A shock on the head caused by a huge punch or a large branchedown can rattle the brain of the hunter and possibly cause a concussion.
The power can cause the brain to move quickly within the skull, which can cause injury to the brain over time, including balance problems, cognitive disorders and even CTE.
The early years of the UFC saw very little protection for hunters and some of the greatest batters of all time, who had led legends like Chuck Liddell to show the effects of these common injuries all those years later.
Sudding and brain injury are one of the worst things that can happen to a hunter, especially on a regular basis, therefore the introduction of a concussion protocol has been so important.
5. Bone and foot injury
Countless fighters have suffered broken legs and feet that a number of common and seemingly imperative movements have done in the UFC Octagon.
So often a hunter went for a simple calf kick before he falls on the mat, his foot no longer points as it should because his bone is simply broken under the power of the kick.
Anderson Silva broke his shin and fibula after Chris Weidman had checked his stairs on UFC 168, in one of the most horrible and surprising injuries ever seen.

Although he was eliminated prior to this fight, I believe that this leg break has ultimately changed Anderson Silva forever. Since then he has been able to attract solid performance, but the spider could not win in his last 9. Pic.twitter.com/irudzcqw6l.

McGregor even broke his leg just a step back in his third fight with Dustin Poirier, in what was a disappointing end to their trilogy.
Unlike most ordinary UFC injuries, leg injuries seem to come out of nowhere completely and are not caused by an opponent, but the fate itself.
6. Shoulder injuries
The constant pressure on the shoulder joint means that problems with the shoulder are one of the most common in the UFC.
The mobility of the joint gives hunters a huge range of movement, but the consideration is that it becomes very sensitive to injury, especially due to excessive use due to constant training in the structure of a fight.
Spreading, disruptions and divorces are common injuries for hunters to suffer, either before or during their fighting, and can come at any time after important wear.
TJ Dillashaw suffered famous several dislocations during his fight against Aljamain Sterling on UFC 280, although he in one way or another he managed to make it pop in the socket to continue the fight.
He could not lift his arm above his head after the injury and forced him to withdraw from the Octagon after that title fight.
