There are many reports that Saudi Arabia is preparing a world record package to kill Vinicius Jr. from Madrid to the Middle East.
There are approximately 80,000,000,000 stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, 150,000,000,000 meters between Earth and the Sun, and our solar system is racing through the galaxy at a speed of 200,000 meters per second.
Frankly, you've glossed over the numbers. That's because they mean nothing to you: simply too big for the human brain, an organized lump of fat, protein and carbohydrates that evolved to hunt animals on the African plains. We are not used to calculations that deviate from our intimate little world of everyday life.
The same goes for money: I can lend you $10, you can spend $100, or buy a house for $250,000. You can even win $1,000,000. So when I say that Real Madrid, if reports are to be believed, are on the verge of receiving a $350 million bid from Saudi Arabia for their star winger Vinicius Jr, the eyes are simply glossed over.
Saudi Arabia is reportedly ready to break the world record
Al-Ahli said he was most excited about the Brazilian, saying the potential deal would blast the current world record (Neymar vs PSG, $222 million) out of the solar system and beyond Voyager 1 into space.
Vinicius Jr, whose current contract runs until 2027, is undoubtedly Real Madrid's poster boy. But lately there has been a slight shift in his perception, with some fans increasingly annoyed by his antics and attitude, while others agree that Mbappe could – and should – do better on the left wing that currently is occupied by Vini. While the club has clearly backed both Vinicius and Mbappe (Carlo even recently went into length about how the Frenchman was the best central striker in the world), there will certainly come a point where the Spanish club will start looking at the money on the table. and agree that it is just out of this world.
The player himself was asked about such rumors in the aftermath of Real Madrid's Champions League victory over RB Salzburg: “My future? Real Madrid! I have 101 goals with my dream club. I came as a child and now that I can delve into the history of this club, I am the happiest person in the world.”
Real Madrid: the kings of… doing things at the right time
They said goodbye to Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo – all of the old guard who won so much – all at the right time, and they were all happy. The only player from that team who perhaps went too early was Toni Kroos, and that was his decision, not Real Madrid's.
They know how to handle things in the corridors of the Bernabéu, and it is certain that their decision will be considered and carefully considered until the last moment. The most important point, at least for now, before anything is confirmed, is this: the fact that Vini Jr. to Saudi Arabia is even a possibility says more than any “latest update” about where things stand; the simple concept of the player leaving Real Madrid this summer is a cryptic message in itself.
If he were to move, Vini Jr. joining former teammate Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia, as well as Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo. It seems Saudi Arabia continues to throw out space age numbers that the rest of us mere mortals simply cannot comprehend.
