Atletico Madrid seems to have been attracted to Rodrigo de Paul. As the negotiations progress for the Argentina -International to leave the club, Los Colchoneros will be forced to restructure their midfield. The antagonist is Diego Simeone.

Baena will help with creative tasks further ahead, but Simeone probably wants someone with that nous on the ball next to barrios and/or cardoso.
Anyway, it will not be a clean decision without negative consequences for Bucero.
