There is a multitude of factors that have contributed to the current Triumph in Liverpool's current Premier League title – and one is clearly their use of sports science to prevent an injury crisis.
For this they have called in the help of an expert company that specializes in injury saying – with live data that is filtered on coaching staff who can warn them when a player runs the risk of attracting.
This is in the small part thanks to Statsports, a company founded in Ireland. The partnership has long been, but the latest technology helps to get the Liverpool sports science team that can mark potential risks.
According to prominent injuries, the Reds have had one of the cleanest injury records in the competition this season and this is undoubtedly one of the factors behind their leadership as runaway leaders. Star Men Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah have hardly missed a minute.
With the help of the 100 percent accurate and live data of Statensports, which have a precision in military style, Liverpool performance coaches can be warned when a player is almost injury and the necessary steps take, such as illuminating their training tax or replacing them.
“When it comes to injury prevention, I'm not sure if anyone can really say they can prevent them,” says Paul McKernan, the director. 'But you can certainly reduce the risk. We can help manage the cargo of the players, we can help with the forecast of injuries.
'There are other factors such as food, but our product helps clubs to move to the next level. As I say, it's hard to prevent completely, but we can help in that holistic process.
'We take a centimeter wide but mile deep approach. We consider ourselves best in the classroom in performance technology. We believe that those marginal profits, extra one per cent, can only be achieved if you are in very top technology.
'We are the only company that can offer 100 percent accuracy in our live technology.
'There are more than 300 statistics available in our software. The key is looking at the right one for that team or that individual athlete. Our product can measure a step -by -step balance – how much pressure you exert through the left on the right.
'It is normally 50-50 or 49-51, if that starts to move, there might be a problem that the player is not yet aware and they are overcompensing. We can also look at dynamic stress load, very sports science-like, but it is a tailor-made algorithm that we have that all calculates.
'If you go back 10 years, players would have set up performance tests and the analyst would have given the analyst a chip to take a look. At that time the player went home. This allows them to see it live in real time with an accuracy of 100 percent.
'They can make decisions while they are at stake of the game. You make a decision about multi-million assets and this can really give them confidence.
'Salah has the season of his life and that has contributed enormously to Liverpool, which is great when they are our client. We can help in checking the cargo of the players. Adjust it and taps in the run -up to a competition in the course of a season.
“We are only one small piece, but it's an important piece.”
The first customer of Statsports was the Leinster Rugby Union team and they also collaborated with the All Blacks. They have two full -time employees in the English FA in St George's Park.
Of course it cannot be legally legally for a creaking tackle on the pitch that, for example, breaking the leg of a player, but if the software is used correctly, the software can minimize the risk of muscle injury. The Liverpool performance team, led by Ruben Peeters, is clearly mastered.
Real and Saudis continued to register by Salah Register
The news was cheerfully received, the outcome required by all parties. Mohamed Salah will stay in Liverpool for two more years and he can move second place Roger Hunt in the goals in the goals before he did it. What a remarkable achievement that would be.
It had been spoken for a while that Salah would commit and sounds came from Madrid around the turn of the year that there was an expectation that the Egyptian would sign.
Why wouldn't it be known there? Real Madrid is said to have been absolutely interested in signing the most sought after Bosman who had passed the Salah contract and they would have done due diligence in case it came at the time.
As it was, they never received any encouragement.
However, they did not accept that in Saudi Arabia. It was never a secret that the money offered for Salah was outside, but as late as last Wednesday Hilal thought they still had a chance to secure his signature.
It would have been a huge coup for all Hilal to get Salah and it is clear that the news that he would bind to Liverpool was crushed. Proof, if necessary, the decision of Salah was formed by history instead of finance.
Diaz in Disneyland
Luis Diaz has been rejuvenated since the return of the international break of March. He was excellent against Everton and then followed goals in successive matches against Fulham and West Ham, the last Liverpool of which brought to the edge of the title.
It shows the benefits of a break. Passengers on an EasyJet flight to Paris on a Thursday at the end of last month had to do a double take when they boarded and Diaz and his girlfriend saw in the front row.
There were many young Liverpool fans on the flight, on their way to Euro Disney, and their breaks all started in the best possible way, with Diaz who provided every image request and signature.
No locker banging this time!
How will they celebrate this time? It is a question that is worth asking, because the spirit is brought back for five years to that most unusual season and, in some respects, unsatisfactory conclusion for the most recent Triumph of Liverpool.
When football resumed after the pandemic-induced three-month break, Liverpool knew that they would get the two victories they needed to become champions, but doing in an empty stadium was hard to digest.
The squadron of the night that Jurgen Klopp knew it was happening when they defeated Crystal Palace in Anfield 4-0. In normal circumstances, the ground would have been on fire with noise, but then they walked away to the strange scream, even blows were lost in the vastness of the void.
Back in the dressing room, however, was a different story. To create an atmosphere itself, the team started to pound and bang the front, the sound became earrolling and tribal. You can guarantee that it will be widespread this time.
Reds Shell from £ 20 million for the costs of agents
Liverpool is seventh in the table … for reimbursements paid to agents in the past year.
The Reds paid £ 20.835.652 to agents and intermediaries in the past 12 months, which is almost three times less than Chelsea eliminated in the same period with the Club of Todd Boehly who issues £ 60.4 million.
Liverpool made only one signing last summer with Federico Chiesa who became a member of the club and the reimbursement to his agent, Fali Ramadani, is reflected in an official document published by the Football Association this week.
The Reds also paid to the agents of deals to bring Arne Slot and Sipke Hulshoff to the club, while Jarell Quansah and Lewis Koumas received new contracts.
It also shows that the third choice has keeper Viteszlav Jaros an updated deal. Many think that the Czech Republic -International no longer has a contract this summer, but confidentially understands that he had a clause in his deal to activate an extension.
Why did Gravenberch man not speak beyond the turn
The agent of Ryan Gravenberch shivered a few fans this week when he said he was dreaming for Real Madrid one day of the midfielder.
But Jose Fortes Rodriguez, from the Raiola -Rijk, spoke in retrospect and did not speak about a possible transfer.
He told Marca in an interview: 'When Ryan was 16, Barcelona called us. They wanted to sign him, but his father and I prioritized his development.
“He is good enough for Real Madrid. We would like him to play for them, but Liverpool would ask for a lot of money. I know they have kept an eye on him, but now it is impossible. '
The latter three words must be noticed. Impossible. Gravenberch does not go anywhere and it is understood that Rodriguez was only talking about his own feelings about Madrid, not the Dutch midfielder that he has cared for for many years.
Young Reds set for collision against Manchester Giants
Barry Lewtas's Under 21s can be set for a seductive play-off collision with Manchester United in Premier League 2.
We are in the second season of Play-Offs in PL2 that were brought in to make Academy Football more competitive and more fun.
Each team plays 20 games in the regular season and the top 16 continues to the play-offs, with the 1st 16th, 2nd games 15th and so on. To win the PL2, teams have to win four games with one leg with the higher ranked team that has a home advantage.
Liverpool Travel to play Aston Villa on Friday evening in Bodymoor Heath and a victory would end 12th and be pulled to play against United. She could see a draw in the 16th and play the leaders Manchester City – although this depends on the result of West Brom.
The Young Reds already defeated United this season thanks to a Tyler Morton goal. The midfielder returned into action in the weekend after three months of missing with a shoulder injury. Earlier this season, Morton, confidentially, revealed operation.
