Gibbs-White, who received a late call-up after Cole Palmer had withdrawn from the team, can consider himself miserable as abuse, given his form club form this season.
Quansah, and to a lesser extent Ramsdale, would have expected a reduction of the extensive side. The first has largely had to do this season with replacement performances for the Reds.
In the meantime, Ramsdale seems to have lost his place on Burnley -young James Trafford, largely thanks to the remarkable defensive record of Clarets this season.
