Ben White may never be picked for England again according to ex-Three Lions star Nicky Butt.
New England boss Thomas Tuchel is tipped to mention White tomorrow in the first team of his rule after the Arsenal defender spent two years in self-imposed exile.
But butt says that White's decision not to make itself available, because a failure on the World Cup 2022 in Qatar should end his international career.
The former midfielder of Manchester United said: 'He is good enough to go into the team, he is a top player.
“But he is not so good to beg him to come back.
“He is not a shaving in his time, he is not a gas coigne in his time.
“There have been a few over the years who said:” I don't want to play “or” I want to get ready for next season, “
“In other words,” I don't want to play “or” I don't want to be Subs. “
“Once you break that, I don't think there should be a way back.”
White, 27, flew home before the World Cup started in December 2022 in the midst of reports that he was not satisfied with a “retained remark” made by the assistant of Boss Gareth Southgate, Steve Holland.

Butt is also against the “sad” decision of the FA to appoint a German manager.
Butt, 50, Talksport said: “He is clearly a great coach.
“But I am an Englishman who played for my country and is passionate about my country.
“It doesn't suit me well. We have enough good coaches in England to give them a chance. “
Tuchel works from a huge list of 55 people before calling his first English team.
The new Three Lions manager will mention his first team next week for the World Cup qualifications against Albania and Latvia.
The 51-year-old follows Southgate and has signed a 18-month contract that will end after the World Cup 2026 in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Tuchel's first match against Albania on March 21 is already a sold -out Wembley.
The match against Latvia three days later is expected to attract a crowd of at least 70,000.
