The thirdest Arminia Bielefeld bewildered Bundesliga-side Werder Bremen with a 2-1 victory to make the DFB-Pokal Semi-Final.
Two goals in the first half were enough for Arminia, who are fourth in the 3Ala that have suffered back-to-back degations from the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga in 2021-22 and 2022-23, to continue their dream run .
The hosts of Tuesday's quarterfinals, who had already eliminated Union Berlin and Freiburg from the competition, went in front when Marius Woerl punished some loose Werder game with a curling strike after 35 minutes.
Werder was two goals six minutes later when defender Julian Malatini tried to erase a cross, but could only turn the ball into his own goal.
The Ole Werner team lowered the shortage in the 56th minute with the efforts of Oliver Burke and gave them hope, and they touch the bar in the stop time by the header of Amos Pieper.
But Arminia clinged to join the last four with heavyweights Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart. RB Leipzig will face Wolfsburg on Wednesday for the last semifinal place.
4-Arminia Bielefeld won their 4th DFB-Pokal-equal game against a Bundesliga team in a row without being a team of the first or second division, something that no team had previously managed since the Bundesliga was founded in 1963-64. Angry. pic.twitter.com/codndpxosl

Data Debrief: Arminia's History Makers
Wins Over Union and Freiburg had already made this cup a memorable one for Arminia, but Tuesday's triumph caused them to write history.
They are now the first team of the third layer or lower to win four consecutive DFB-Pokal tires against Bundesliga teams since the competition was founded in 1963, the first of those victories came against Bochum last season.
Arminia actually made the semi-final as a third class club in 2014-15 and lost 4-0 to the final champions Wolfsburg.
