UFC 319 started with a stunning upset victory of Joseph Morales to win the Ultimate Fighter 33 Flyweight title and was immediately succeeded by a result that the temporary employment team left astonished.

The fighting statistics between Silva and Barbosa were close by after their three-rounder, with the game to a razor-thin margin in round 2. But Silva's control of her back, and late Burst in the last seconds of the round, all three jury members scored in Silva's favor.
Barbosa decided the first round and Silva closed the fight on a strong note in round 3. Despite the live opportunities, Silva's favor in favor of Barbosa, Silva ran away with a unanimous decision victory, against the protest of the United Center -Modigte and the UFC 319 -Omsringen.
After the official decision was read and Joe Rogan made an interview after the fight with Silva, Daniel Cormier went on the Silva vs. Barbosa Scorecards.
“This should stop happening,” Cormier began.
“These jury members cannot keep doing things time and time again. Especially when these hunters achieve a victory or a show bonus.”
Anik responded to Cormier by agreeing with his sentiment and pointed out that the live gambling opportunities were considerably in favor of Barbosa when the fight concluded. Rogan agreed with his two employment partners.
“That was shocking … I think that's a bad decision,” Rogan followed.
Doubtful score cards are nothing new in modern MMA. In recent years, the conversation about the score criteria of MMA and the assessment of consistency has been performed in a huge way.

Former UFC light weight Josh Thomson called for radical scoring system changes after viewing Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier 3 on UFC 318. Thomson believes that a round should be scored with more emphasis on how it ends, especially if a hunter ends the round in top position.
Despite the controversy around her UFC 319 victory, Silva bounced back in a great way after her first UFC defeat against Viviane Araujo on UFC 309 in November. As far as Barbosa is concerned, she has lost two of her last three fights after a UFC debut win on Ernesta Kareckaite on UFC 301.
