“This November s*** is over and December has begun” – Hansi Flick delighted with Barcelona’s win at Mallorca

On Tuesday, Barcelona emphatically returned to form with a 5-1 victory over Mallorca at Son Moix. The Catalans had previously gone without a win in their previous three La Liga matches (against Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo and Las Palmas), but that poor run has been put to rest.

According to MD, Hansi Flick expressed his delight at the result, and also at the end of his side's poor run of form at Barcelona.

“We had many chances and scored in the first half, but they equalized. We are happy. Scoring is very important to us. We created a lot of chances, but we missed them (against Las Palmas). This time I'm happy that I scored five goals.

“I had already warned that I was happy, because this November s*** is over and December has now begun.”

Flick also explained the decision to rest Robert Lewandowski, who was replaced from the start by Barcelona teammate Ferran Torres.

“Lewandowski needed rest, we had to take care of him. Moreover, Ferran played a very good match and scored the first goal, it is very important for him. When we need him, he is there. Today there was no need to play with Lewandowski.”
