Arsenal Full Back Jurrien Timber has undergone an ankle operation, while Center Back William Saliba will also miss the last game of the club of the season with a hamstring number, said Mikel Arteta manager Wednesday.
Timber missed Arsenal's 1-0 Premier League win in Newcastle United last weekend, in which Saliba, who has more minutes for Arsenal than any other outfield player this season, was enforced due to an injury.
“William unfortunately goes out for a few weeks. He pulled his hamstring to Newcastle,” Arteta told Premier League World TV. “Jurrien was operated on his ankle yesterday, so he will also be out for a few weeks.”
Arsenal is on track to finish second for the third season in a row while ending their competition campaign during the Southampton degrade on Sunday.
