Timothy Weah’s Marseille move back on

Despite the negotiations that have stopped for a while, Olympique De Marseille does not give up their striving for Timothy Weah (25). The Juventus wing player is linked to a return to Ligue 1 from Italy, despite a recent impasse.

Damien Comolli, general manager of Juventus, recently said that Marseille's offer for the 25-year-old American was 'not adequate'.

However, new reports on Friday evening suggest that a deal between the two clubs for the American international can be back on the table after confusion about the first range of € 13 m. According to Foot Mercato, new negotiations have taken place.

L'Equipe reported on Friday that the highest bid that Marseille is willing to go on Weah is € 15 million, and they will not admit that. Weah seems to leave Juventus and return to France, where he helped Lille OSC to win the Ligue 1 title in the 2020-21 campaign. He has only delivered five goals in two Series A campaigns for Juve.

Although moving to France seems to be what Weah wants, he is still contraction with Juventus until 2028.

Before he won the Ligue 1 title in Lille, WEAH won that Kroon twice as a member of Paris Saint-Germain for a loan spell in Scotland with Celtic and then return to Ligue 1 with Les Dogues.

Together with three Ligue 1 crowns to his name, Weah also won the Trophée des Champions with both PSG and Lille and three Concacaf Nations League trophies with the American national team.
