The gap between full-backs and center-backs is closer to FPL this season, with the introduction of defensive contribution points that pay for rewarding approvals, blocks, tackles and intercepts.

The Premium Picks offer the temptation of regular clean pages and they look difficult to ignore in terms of AI predicted points about the first four game week.

With only two days left until 6.30 pm Deadline of Fantasy Football Hub takes a look in five defenders that you have to consider for your 15-man squadrons.

3rd place: Josko Gvardiol (£ 6.0 million) & Virgil van Dijk (£ 6.0 m)

18.3 predicted points

It is the premium defenders who dominate these rankings, with a draw in third place between Josko Gvardioliol from Manchester City and Virgil van Dijk van Liverpool, both predicted that they score 18.3 points about the first four game week.

Gvardiol saw his position shift from Vliegen full-back to Center-back last season. He still scored five goals and would have achieved ten defensive contribution points. The competition for Ederson between the sticks in newcomer James Trafford can also stimulate the clean leaf potential.

Last season Liverpool held a leading count of 14 clean sheets, with Van Dijk the most safe route to their defense. We are now more attracted to him about the full-backs because of those defensive contribution points: Virgil is said to have won 24 last season.

2nd place: Gabriel (£ 6.0 million)

18.5 predicted points

Arsenal Center-Back Gabriel was a popular choice when the game was launched at the end of July, a trend that we saw in three consecutive seasons. However, reduced minutes in the preseason as a result of an injury niggle has fallen its property to the 20%.

The Gunners have been one of the most consistent defenses in the Premier League in recent seasons, including 13 clean sheets of the last campaign. Gabriel also offers an attacking threat and scores at least three goals in four consecutive seasons for Arsenal.

Road trips to Manchester United and Liverpool In two of the opening of three game week, no clean sheets are screaming, but they are favorites for a shut-out in game week 2, when Leeds United visits the Emirates.

1st place: Rayan Ait-Nouri (£ 6.0 million) & Marc Cucurella (£ 6.0 million)

18.8 predicted points

They are two left backs that share the top position, with Manchester City Summer that signs Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Chelsea's Marc Cucurella. Both come to £ 6.0 million to be one of the most expensive defenders.

Rayan Ait -Nouri is confronted with his former employers Wolves at Molineux in Gameweek 1. He wore bags with attacking threat in a wolves shirt, with four goals and seven assists last season -the most target involvement of every defender in the game.

Chelsea was one of the top defense in the Premier League at the end of last season and held seven clean sheets in 19 games. Cucurella collected five goals and two assists last season, his most productive attacking output in a Premier League campaign.
