Tom Aspinall finally washed his hands of Jon Jones after a heavyweight Saga who lasted a few months.
Since a few months, UFC -Fans Jon Jones have hunted for his continuous delay of a heavyweight title Unification Fight against Tom Aspinall.
Throughout the Saga, Aspinall has remained clear that it is not a special fight against Jones that he is haunting, and instead it is the undisputed heavyweight title.
And despite the UFC boss Dana White who remained determined that the fight would happen 100%, Jones seemed to announce his retirement this Friday in a post on social media.

Aspinall claims that the UFC will soon announce the official pension of Jones
Together with his apparent retirement of the competition, Jones went to blame the UFC for holding the heavyweight division, and stated that he made them aware of his plans months ago.
Fortunately for UFC fans, however, when Aspinall inevitably takes over the undisputed heavyweight champion, he would like to get the division moving again and claims that he will fight twice this year.
And recently talking to The Independent, Aspinall revealed that Jones' pension will soon be officially announced by the UFC.
“Mate, I want to keep my work, so I don't want to say too much, but I said what I said in other interviews and such, and people think I'm joking, but it's the truth. I am not the kind of man to pull such media stunts, what I say is the truth and it will be quickly announced as far as I know.”
Who will then fight Tom Aspinall instead of Jon Jones?
Although a fight between Jones and Aspinall is perhaps the biggest fight that could currently be done in sport, the Brit apparently has come to terms of the chance that it will not happen.
Aspinall was previously associated with a fight against former interim champion, Ciryl Gane, who used Jones as an excuse not to fight against Aspinall.
Despite that, White was not so happy with Gane's last victory against Alexander Volkov, slamming the assessment and claimed that the Russian deserved the victory.
