Tom Aspinall explains how UFC legend helped him turn fear of fighting into his ‘superpower’

Tom Aspinall says that Georges St-Pierre helped him confront his fear of fighting.

The Interim -FC Heavyweight Champion climbed to the top of the most dangerous division of MMA by removing Sergei Pavlovich, Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov.

Now he comes after a heavyweight unification with the greatest hunter in the UFC history, Jon Jones.

Despite his dominance, Tom Aspinall admits that he is afraid when he enters the UFC indemnum.

Tom Aspinall takes tips from Georges St-Pierre

On Tuesday, Logan Paul released a podcast with Aspinall, who was refreshingly honest about his fear of fighting.

During their chat, the English knockout artist Jones of 'the public' accused of long -term negotiations for their unified collision, of which Dana White claims that it was 'done' but not enough to officially announce.

Aspinall also revealed how he had learned from MMA icon Georges St-Pierre, who has always been very open about his mixed feelings about fighting.

“I learned a lot from these things from GSP,” he said about Impaulsive. “I now know GSP personally, but many of them have just learned from looking at his podcasts and watching his things.

'Because he is so open and he is 10 years old for me, maybe even more. And that guy is going to fight out against boys like Nick Diaz, who give him his finger and P – constantly gone him away.

“He's so much:” Yes, I'm afraid. But I'm going and kick you – anyway. ” I love that honesty if you are honest with your emotions and you come across.

Embrace anxiety like a hunter

Aspinall is at a point in his life and career where he thinks fear has almost become a 'super power'.

“I will speak openly about how scared I am when I fight.” he added.

“There are me and GSP who have spoken a lot about it. There are so many UFC hunters who say,” I'm not afraid. I will fight against everyone. ” And I will certainly fight everyone, but it is still scary and I am open with it.

“I have the feeling that when you are open and embracing it, it gives you a very super power in itself.

“You're so much:” I'm F ****** scared, but I'm going to do it anyway. “
