The Heavyweight Interim champion believes that there is a clear next option for one of the biggest stars in sport.
On UFC 313, Alex Pereira was defeated by Magomed Ankalaev with the incredibly light heavyweight title of the Brazilian that ends through the score cards.
The new champion has already weighed with his thoughts about what should be for him, with Ankalaev cut off a heavyweight movement.
With Pereira who had ambitions to conquer a different weight class, Tom Aspinall tuned to the main event to see how it took place on Saturday evening in Las Vegas.
Aspinall believes that Pereira and Jon Jones are now off the table, but he has another option in mind for 'Patan' after his second UFC loss.

Tom Aspinall says that Alex Pereira should get an immediate rematch with Magomed Ankalaev
Tom Aspinall gave his response to the UFC 313 headliner via a recent video on his YouTube channel.
After looking at Magomed Ankalaev, the gold of 205 pounds finally secured, the interim-heavyweight champion quickly pointed out what the next one should be for both men.
Aspinall believes that Alex Pereira should get an immediate rematch with the first man who beats him in the light heavyweight division.
After he had defended the title three times via Knock -out in 2024, although the reign of Pereira was not incredibly long, it was perhaps the best in MMA last year.
Dana White apparently agreed with the need for a rematch in his press conference after the fight and although most people apparently had Ankalaev who won the fight, some rounds were very closely disputed.
Aspinall said that although he can see the fight in a rematch going in the same way, Pereira deserves that opportunity.
“Alex Pereira's run as a champion is ready for the time being. In my opinion, immediately rematch should be there. Alex Pereira is a massive, massive, massive star in the MMA sport, solid. Last night, lost his title, but the run he had, in my opinion, justified an immediate rematch. Magomed Ankalaev looks like he has his number. It seems that the same thing in my opinion could happen again. I want to see it again, I absolutely want to see that fight again. '
Alex Pereira's loss should secure Tom Aspinall's status as the next opponent of Jon Jones
After the defeat of Alex Pereira on March 8, this seems to make a fight between 'Patan' and Jon Jones less likely.
Although it had become fairly quiet with regard to a heavyweight Unification Clash between Jones and Tom Aspinall, Dana White gave a promising update after UFC 313.
The UFC president said he feels positive about the fight with the current hold-up caused by ironing a date and location.
Pereira may be loved by the fan base, but if the UFC is able to put together the most expected fight of the year, it would certainly help to place the outcome of Saturday evening in the rear -view mirror.
