When it comes to offering fighter fights, it is not necessary to convince Tom Aspinall to say yes.
Tom Aspinall thought his heavyweight saga in which Jon Jones was involved was finally ending after months of uncertainty when UFC boss Dana White announced that Jones had officially retired a few weeks ago.
But despite the fact that Aspinall was upgraded to the undisputed champion, Jones revealed only a few weeks later that he officially re-introduced the drug test pool while he will return the Witte House's mega event next year.
Last weekend after UFC 318, however, White revealed that it is unlikely that he will include Jones at the event because he cannot trust him, so that Aspinall's recording is questioned about the event.

Aspinall on potential UFC fight against Francis Ngannou
Not long after White's comments, Jones responded by mentioning his disappointment, but continued to claim that he will stay in the test pool and work towards a comeback.
And after he has been waiting for a few months to return the 'bones', Aspinall is no longer waiting and has revealed that his first undisputed title defense is official.
Although it is unclear who will fight the Brit, only Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov are immediately logical to fight for the title, with the heavyweight division that looks extremely superficial.
This keeps conversations coming up with a possible comeback to the promotion for former champion, Francis Ngannou.
When it was announced that Jones had retired, Ngannou Dana White sent a message and introduced his interest in re -signing with the UFC.
And although White and Ngannou have a dark relationship, the UFC boss has never excluded 100% from a potential return for 'the Predator'.
“I'm not sure if I don't know if that is (possibly), I know he didn't have the best relationship with the UFC, so I don't know if that can be repaired,” Aspinall told UFC on Eurosport.
“I will fight against everyone … I like it, I love the fight … It is a fight that I would certainly be interested in, I am inside,” he continued.
Francis Ngannou's MMA is still doubting
Since he came to the PFL in 2023 after his exit from the UFC, Ngannou has only fought in the Smart Cage once, so that his momentum is put in sport.
And despite the fact that they have won their PFL heavyweight Super Fight title, there are not particularly heavyweights on the PFL schedule that feels like 'The Predator' to fight, so that his MMA leaves doubts.
Discussions have recently taken place between Ngannou and Aspinall's kickboxing teammate Rico Verhoeven for a fight with mixed rules, but that will probably not happen at the moment.
