Tom Aspinall appreciated a comment that Israel Adesanya made to him on UFC 317.
The last few months were downright crazy of the Englishman, who waited patiently, hoping that his arch rival would draw on the dotted line.
Unfortunately, the collision never flourished, with the legend retired and the heavy batter was raised to undisputed champion status. Aspinall recently indicated when he knew that Jon Jones would not fight against him.
Although the entire test was frustrating for the powerhouse, 'The Last Stylebender' had some encouragement for the Brit when they crossed paths on Saturday evening.

Israel Adesanya gives Tom Aspinall a huge compliment
At UFC 304, Tom Aspinall produced a stunning display, in which Curtis Blaydes was eliminated to defend the interim -heavyweight title.
Israel Adesanya believes that although the undisputed crown was not on the line, the victory is still extremely important.
The Nigerian-New Zealander said: “The interim title means something. If you defend your belt, it is a defense. Never let them take that from you.”
Aspinall replied: “I appreciate that. They gave me a ruby for the belt.”
Adesanya exclaimed: “Then it means something, I have seven rubies.”
The appreciative Englishman replied: “Like, thanks, man.”
Tom Aspinall confessed that he was terrified of asking the former boxer for money he owed him
Although Aspinall is perhaps the most intimidating man who runs the face of the earth, there is one hunter who even scares him.
At the start of his career, the MMA star had to apply for some money from a fight that owed him.
In a proof of his honesty, Aspinall known that he was afraid of the retired boxer to ask for the money.
