The UFC returns to the O2 Arena in London on Saturday evening, where the location has recently organizes some memorable events.
The Fight Night Card of March 22, in contrast to the previous 3 that take place on British soil, will not contain the interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall at the top of the map, where Leon Edwards receives the most important event place while he wants to bounce in style.
Although the pre-fighting predictions for Edwards' 5-round collision with Sean Brady are largely one-sided, there is still enough to be enthusiastic about this weekend.
Various staples from the trips from the UFC to England are in action with the training partner of Molly McCann and Aspinall on the map.
Many of the home hunters who will take the walk in the capital this weekend were set up in 2020 until the routine trip from the Octagon to London was the first event that was canceled by the COVID-19 Pandemie.
Tom Aspinall's debut would also contain the first UK Main Event by Leon Edwards and the UFC introduction of Shavkat Rakhmonov
On March 14, the Fight Night card of the UFC in Brasilia became the first event in the history of the promotion that took place behind closed doors due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
The event of the following weekend in London was completely canceled, despite the efforts of the MMA leader to keep the show active.
The main event of March 21 would have seen Leon Edwards in the UK for the first time when he was confronted with Tyron Woodley opposite Tyron Woodley, who lost the Welterweight title to Kamaru Usman the previous year.
Together with familiar faces such as Darren Stewart, Jack Shore, Paul Craig, Lerone Murphy and Molly McCann, the map also contained Kevin Holland, Marvin Vettori, a debuting Shavkat Rakhmonov and a Co-Main event between fan favorites Nicoly Dalby and Danny Robert.
Two British were also set up to debut with Tom Aspinall opposite Jake Collier and Jai Herbert against Marc Diakiese Namen after both men signed at the UFC as former Cage Warriors champions.
Both Aspinall and Herbert would later debut at the Fight Island event in July with the reason for Robert Whittaker vs Darren Till.
One fight still took place that weekend with Stewart and Bartosz Fabinski, who were originally linked to various opponents, booked on Cage Warriors 113 that took place behind closed doors on March 20, despite the fact that both men were still signed at the UFC.
It would take 2 months for the Octagon to return with UFC 249 that would take place in Jacksonville on 9 May.

Leon Edwards was in a difficult place after his canceled main event
While many of the hunters who were booked to compete at the canceled London Fight Night event, this unfortunate result had a considerable impact on Leon Edwards's career.
Tyron Woodley was again planned to face Gilbert Burns in May in a matchup that 'Durinho' earned a good -weight title shot, despite the impressive winning streak from Edwards.
After defeating Rafael Dos Anjos in July 2019, 'Rocky' would be inactive to his return against Belal Muhammad of March 2021 after canceled matchups with Woodley and Khamzat Chimaev.
After receiving the O2-Arena in London as the Welterweight champion at UFC 286, he now returns to the same building to try to restore himself in the title photo after losing the belt last time-out.
