A heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall tops most people's list for desired UFC fights in 2025.
Following Jon Jones' successful title defense against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 last November, fans clamored for a heavyweight title fight between 'Bones' and Tom Aspinall.
Despite this, Jones claimed after his fight that unless he gets 'F*** money' he won't fight Aspinall and will instead end his incredible career.

Henry Cejudo claims Jon Jones will make Tom Aspinall easy
A large majority of the UFC fanbase believes that the lightning-fast British heavyweight could give Jones the most trouble he has ever faced in his career.
Aspinall is known for his fast boxing and light-footed movements, not to mention the size difference between these two fighters.
Nevertheless, according to former UFC doubles champion Henry Cejudo, Jones would make easy work of Aspinall, who he labels as 'easy money' for the current heavyweight king.
“Heavyweight, I'm going for Jon Jones, man,” Cejudo told his former champion Kamaru Usman during an episode of their Pound 4 Pound Podcast.
“Yesterday I saw a bit of Tom Aspinall. He has lateral movement – really good. But Jones is just too smart, buddy. All Jones has to do is press him, stay in the middle, don't react, find his struggle.
'I think it will be easy money. I think he still gets paid that $30 million,” Cejudo continued.
Cejudo has recently made his own return to the Octagon, with his last fight against Merab Dvalishvili taking place in February 2024. The former UFC doubles champion will take on Song Yadong in a Fight Night main event on February 22.
Jon Jones is now considering retiring rather than fight Aspinall
According to UFC commentator Joe Rogan, Jones demanded a $30 million purse to fight Aspinall in a title unification bout, but the icon has since retracted his claim after Dana White called him to tell him that number was incorrect.
And now Rogan has claimed that rather than fight Aspinall, he is once again considering retiring as he doesn't believe a win over Aspinall would add to his already incredible legacy.
That's despite White stating he was “100% confident” he and the UFC could reach a deal for Jones to hold out for another fight.
Jones and the UFC boss haven't had the best relationship during the champion's career, given the issues that left the 37-year-old unable to fight.
Despite this, it became a recurring theme throughout 2024 for White to wax lyrical about Jones and insult anyone who doesn't believe he is the current pound-for-pound number one fighter in the world.
