Tommy Fury vs. Conor McGregor?

“[Conor] don't waste your time with defeated fighters. Fight the man who beat them all and still has his 0,” Fury tweeted on Thursday.

“I'll wait.”

Fury pulled out of his Misfits Boxing match with Till after the former UFC title challenger threatened to launch illegal strikes during a pre-fight press conference. Till will now face Fury's former rival, Anthony Taylor, on January 18.

At the time of writing, McGregor has not yet responded to Fury's call. In addition to a possible return to boxing, McGregor is working on a focused return to MMA later this year after withdrawing from UFC 303 last June.

Tommy Fury and KSI have entered the mix for the Conor McGregor showdown

Fury has not fought in the ring since defeating KSI by unanimous decision in October 2023. The brother of heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury is 10-0 in his boxing career with recent victories over Jake Paul, Daniel Bocianski and Jordan Grant.

McGregor's only professional boxing match came against Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017, losing by late round TKO. Since then, he has been teased, returning to the ring against the likes of Manny Pacquiao and both Paul brothers.

If rumors of fights with KSI and the Paul brothers don't materialize, McGregor and Fury could potentially come face-to-face later this year. In the meantime, the wait continues for the UFC superstar's return to fighting.
