Tony Ferguson confirms combat sports return after suffering worst losing skid in UFC history

For the first time in 17 years, the next fight by Tony Ferguson will not take place in an MMA cage.

Former interim -ufc champion Tony Ferguson is one of the greatest light weights of all time. Despite the fact that he never recorded the undisputed title, Ferguson held a huge profit streak of 12-fighting from 2013 to 2020.

Over time, Ferguson's epic profit reak in the longest losing Skid in the UFC history changed when 'El Cucuy' dropped his last 8 fights in the Octagon before he was eventually released from Premier Promotion.

At the age of 41, Ferguson refuses to retire after his recent booking against Dillon Danis was canceled in May by the GFL.

Ferguson apparently has combat news on the horizon, according to his last interview.

Tony Ferguson says he will make a pro -box debut on 30 August

After 36 Pro MMA fights, 24 of those who are under the UFC banner, Ferguson enters the boxing ring.

That's right, the Submission artist will cause the large gloves on August 30. Ferguson says he is currently training for his pro -box debut, although his opponent still has to be announced.

“At the moment I have a fight on August 30,” Ferguson told Red Corner MMA.

“I'm going to box.

'I can't tell you who, but it will box.

“One victory changes everything,” said Ferguson, who has not won for six years.

The last victory of Ferguson was a TKO interruption about UFC Hall of Famer Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone on UFC 238 in June 2019, his 12th UFC victory in a row.

The 41-year-old veteran also said that he is still considering MMA offers and other sports.

Tony Ferguson could try out for pro baseball, among other things

Ferguson doesn't even want to think about retirement in his career after the UFC.

An athlete with three sports in high school, Ferguson has said in the past that he wanted to play baseball during his UFC official period.

Now that he is a free agent, Ferguson is planning to try baseball and other combat sports.

“Many people use that stupid F— word pension,” said Ferguson.

“I don't use that word. I still compete. I am 41. I am faster than I guarantee you every F – person who is here

“I do everything, and what I wanted to do was play several sports,” Ferguson said, not close the door to MMA.

“I could try out for baseball for Pro.

“I do my first box -professional fight, I'm going to do Pro Grappling.

“There are many different sports that I want to try and that makes it more interesting because, damn it, I am finished – – athlete, and I win a lot.”
