SEVEN Premier League stars are in the top 20 highest transfer value risers this year.

Many players around the world have increased their shares with stellar performances in 2024.

From teenage prodigies to already established stars making a splash, this list features players who have exploded in the past twelve months.

Boffins at Transfermarkt calculate the transfer value of each player.

And they've put together their list of the top 20 climbers in 2024.

Here's a look at every player who made the cut.

20 – VIKTOR GYOKERES – SPORTING CP

Transfer value: £62 million (+£25 million)

Former Coventry and Brighton star has been sensational since moving to Portugal. Has scored 27 goals in 26 games this season and will have extended his lead with a hat-trick in the Champions League against Manchester City.

19 – RAPHINHA

Transfer value: £66 million (+£25 million)

The winger, 28, has come on in leaps and bounds since leaving Leeds in 2022. He has established himself as one of Barca's key men, even captaining them during Marc-André ter Stegen's injury absence.

18 – FEDE VALVERDE

Transfer value: £108 million (+£25 million)

Despite being surrounded by superstars, Valverde continues to stand out. The 26-year-old helped Real Madrid to LaLiga and Champions League victories last season.

~16 – JAMAL MUSIALA

Transfer value: £116 million (+£25 million)

Attacking midfielder Musiala excelled last summer during the 2024 European Championship with Germany. At club level, the 21-year-old is already one of Bayern Munich's best players.

Prior to his recent hamstring injury, Saka continued to thrive for the Gunners. The 23-year-old has already scored five goals and provided ten assists this season.

14 – RICCARDO CALAFIORI

Transfer value: £37 million (+£26.5 million)

Italian defender Calafiori improved his performance immensely with his performance at Euro 2024. The 22-year-old went on to earn a summer move from Genoa to Arsenal.

13 – KENAN YILDIZ

Transfer value: £37 million (+£29 million)

The Turkey international has established himself as one of Juventus' most important players at the age of 19. The expectation is that he will continue to improve at the Old Lady.

12 – FERMIN LOPEZ

Transfer value: £41 million (+£29 million)

Lopez, 21, is one of several La Masia graduates included in this top 20 list. With Barcelona still struggling financially, the midfielder's importance is only likely to increase.

11 – BRADLEY BARCOLA

Transfer value: £54 million (+£29 million)

Barcola were previously behind Kylian Mbappe in PSG's pecking order but have flourished since the striker's departure. The 22-year-old has firmly developed into one of the best players in Ligue 1 this season.

10 – MORGAN ROGERS

Transfer value: £33 million (+£31 million)

Former Man City Academy star Rogers left Middlesbrough for Aston Villa in January. This season he has become one of Unai Emery's most important players.

9 – ESTEVAO

Transfer value: £41 million (+£33 million)

Brazilian wonderkid Estevao, 17, has already broken into the Selecao national team following his performances for Palmeiras. He will join Chelsea on his 18th birthday next summer.

The German attacking midfielder shone as Bayer Leverkusen recorded a historic campaign last season. Wirtz, 21, played a central role in Xabi Alonso's side, which enjoyed an unbeaten Bundesliga title season and won the DFB Pokal.

7 – OMAR MARMOUSH

Transfer value: £50 million (+£37 million)

Egyptian international Marmoush has become one of the Bundesliga's hottest properties this year. The 25-year-old has starred for Eintracht Frankfurt, who may struggle to keep hold of him.

6 – ALEKSANDAR PAVLOVIC

Holding midfielder Pavlovic has risen from relative obscurity to become an important cog for Bayern. The twenty-year-old German is expected to go from strength to strength for club and county.

Mainoo, a graduate of the Manchester United academy, is already one of the Red Devils' most important players. New boss Ruben Amorim will hope to get the 19-year-old fit and firing in the second half of the season.

The Brazilian winger felt robbed of the Ballon d'Or, but can still look back on numerous personal awards this year. The 24-year-old is a man in his prime and is helping Real Madrid win one trophy after another every season.

Central defender Cubarsi has been shining at the back of Barcelona at the age of seventeen. The academy graduate has shown amazing maturity beyond his years.

2 – COLE PALMER

Chelsea star Palmer is second on this list and the highest-ranked Premier League player. Since moving from Man City to Stamford Bridge, he has exceeded all expectations and left his old club to suffer the consequences of the sale.

1 – LAMINE YAMAL

Transfer value: £149 million (£99 million)

Yamal, the third La Masia graduate on this list, is the most impressive. Like Cubarsi, he is only 17 years old and has already taken Spain to Euro 2024 glory – an incredibly exciting talent.
