In just over a decade, women have not been part of the UFC to the headliner of events and stars around the world.

Women's fights were finally added to UFC maps in 2013 and open a whole series of opportunities and dream competitions for the toughest women around the world.

In this article we will look at the greatest female hunters in history, including a “Cyborg” and a champion who retired without losing both of her world titles.

5. Joanna Jędrzejczyk

Joanna Jędrzejczyk's run as the UFC Strawweight Champion was just as good as any other in the UFC history.

After Jędrzejczyk Carla Esparza had defeated to become champions in 2015, she started a 5-fighter distance of defenses that position her as the top woman who had ever seen the division.

It seemed as if she finally retired as a champion, with no one near the Polish hunter in the Octagon.

The American hunter Rose Namajunas, however, ended that reign with back-to-back victories in two of the most exciting battles that the division has seen.

Then she got some of the best fights ever seen. The attacks between Jędrzejczyk and Zhang Weili have cemented her legacy as a big-all times and are some of the favorite battles of the UFC fans ever.

4. Valentina Shevchenko

As the current pound-for-pound top female hunter in the UFC, Valentina has proven Shevchenko that she is one of the best women who has ever seen the sport.

The Kyrgyz hunter is almost unstoppable since her debut fight in 2015 and becomes a two -time champion in the UFC Women's Flyweight Division.

“Bullet” has broken every possible record in its division and cemented itself as one of the great ones of all time.

Moreover, her fighting with Alexa Grasso de UFC gave his very first female eertogy ever, who told a story that Hollywood writers would be jealous.

She lost her title before she fights for a draw with Grasso. Shevchenko then hit her in the third fight to become two -time champions and seems to start a long and dominant rule again as the head of the division.

3. Cris Cyborg

For the past 20 years, Cris Cyborg has fought and dominating which women were brave enough to go against her in the Octagon.

Named after her ex-husband and colleague MMA hunter, the career of Cyborg is littered with victories over the top women in the sport. 21 of her 28 wins ended via knockout, so you know that you get excitement when looking at one of the battles of the Brazilian.

Only Amanda Nunes has defeated Cyborg since 2005, which shows how devastating and dangerous a hunter she has been in the last two decades.

The Brazilian could be considered the greatest female hunter of all time. Only 7 of her 30 fights took place in the UFC, so it is difficult to place her higher than 3rd position in this list.

2. Ronda Rousey

No UFC hunter – male or female – put the public imagination as much as much as Ronda Rousey did during her dominant run as the Bantamweight champion of the UFC ladies.

Rousey was a pioneer in the promotion. She participated in the very first female fight in UFC, when Rousey Liz Carmouche defeated a victory in the first round.

This started a series of dominance that brought the women to MMA forward. She went on a six-fighter-winning streak, except one, they saw the game off in the first round and made comparisons with boxing legend Mike Tyson.

While her title loses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, Rousey's career ended, she remains one of the biggest female stars coming from the UFC after her domination of the division in the years 2010.

1. Amanda Nunes

Although there is a difficult field to compete with, it is difficult to look beyond Amanda Nunes when you choose who is the best UFC hunter of the ladies of all time.

The Brazilian hunter lost only twice in a decade in the UFC and won 16 of her fighting in a convincing way.

She wrote history by winning both the featherweight of the UFC Ladies and Bantamweight titles, both defending both at the same time while dominating the fighting of women. No woman, before or since then, has managed such an achievement.

The lioness's career ended in 2023 after Nunes beat Irene Aldana on UFC 289. She left both titles and retired, although it is rumor that Nunes return to the Octagon after two years.

Her career was so dominant that she had to retire before she lost her titles. If that doesn't make her the biggest female hunter of all time, then I'm not sure what.
