Real Madrid are in the hunt for Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, but are also trying to sign Alphonso Davies this month. The Bayern Munich left-back is seen as a top prospect on the market and a potential answer to this position for much of the next decade.
Davies agreed a deal with Real Madrid in March last year and Los Blancos have made no changes to their offer, with both sides agreeing to talk again when the time comes. Relevo says there will be a discussion between the club and Davies' agent in the coming weeks, but any attempt to renegotiate with them could see the operation collapse.
With Bayern pushing to renew him and positive reports coming out of Germany on the matter, Relevo explains that Davies is now prioritizing talks with the Bavarian giants, in what is a major shift from just months ago.
