Nottingham Forest returned to third place in the Premier League after a hard-earned 2-1 win over Tottenham.
The first half goals from Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood were enough to get the side of Nuno Espirito Santo back to winning ways, despite the hosts who dominate for great periods in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Anderson's bent strike opened the score in the fifth minute after Spurs did not handle a corner, while Wood led his 19th league goal of the season to double the lead of Forest in the 16th minute.
Spurs responded well and stood above the rest of the game, with the excellent acrobatic clearance of Harry Toffolo, in particular Dejan Kulusevski denied.
They finally let their dominance count with the header of Richarlison who halp the shortage three minutes of the time, but it turned out to be too late because they members a fourth defeat in five league matches.
Forest Leapfrog Newcastle United, Manchester City and Chelsea to increase their Champions League qualification content, while the side of Ange Postecoglou remains 16th.
